This product is fundamentally flawed without a cap. The fact this is a coupler implies a semi-permanent connection that is sometimes de-coupled (if the connection was permanent, you'd use 1 long run with no coupler). However, when this end is removed from the other, it is no longer waterproof. Because there is no protective cap on this end. This is a gross design oversight. "YU-USB3-JSX-01-003" has a cap to protect it while disconnected, but this end does not! So the system overall is only waterproof while it is coupled; while un-coupled, only the female end is protected; this end will be quickly destroyed by the weather you're trying to protect the connection from.
