Thetford33368 Cassette Toilet Pump

Replaced my water pump that stopped working. works great. wire was shorter but seems to work okay.

I was skeptical at first on this part, due to other reviewers' comments about using heat shrink below the waterline. However, when you heat this heat shrink tubing it releases some sort of RTV, glue, or other sealant that bonds with the sheeting of the wires. If done correctly I believe this will be fine in the intermittently used casette potty. I think it's more likely that the pump itself will fail before the wiring joint does.I would add that the part number that was on my C402C potty was 21944, the part number on Thetford's site for the replacement part is 33368 (what I ordered here), the part number on the package received is 29027, and on the instructions within that package 16374. Seems that Thetford has a lot of similar parts under different part numbers, but it installs just fine and works okay. I will say that the new pump is higher pitched than the old one, but still quiet enough that I don't think we'll be waking anyone from the pump during the night.

This pump works perfectly. We've never replaced the pump before but with the directions and some videos this worked out really well. We have 4 kids and a popup camper with a toilet that wouldn't work/flush. This was the remedy and it works great!

This is an exact replacement for the the cassette toilet pump for our trailer. It is an original Thetford brand and comes with everything needed to replace the old pump that got damaged during winter when we forgot to winterize the trailer.

Installed last night and it fits perfect. OEM type product and came with connectors and shrink tube for sealing. Recommend this product for cassette toilets models within same year range 2005.

Having fitted a cheaper alternative and had it fail after only a few uses I decided to go back to the OEM pump. More expensive but not that much. Good installation instructions. Quite easy to fit. Not used so far other than an initial test but seems to work fine. Time will tell.

Bought as a replacement pump when my original started blowing fuses. I discovered that the tank was full of gunk which seemed to be feeding on the pink flush additive. I flushed the tank and pump with clean water and also sprayed quite a bit of silicon lubricant into the pump. It's been working fince since and I now have a spare pump.

The impellor of the old pump had become clogged. In addition, the wiring and switch contacts required cleaning. Access to the switch is gained by removing four screws from the cover underneath the toilet. Replacing the cover and screws proved to be difficult. Changing to the new pump was straightforward and the toilet is now working correctly.

The pump was bought as a replacement for our Swift Challenger Caravan which had stopped working. The Instructions are very easy to follow. You will need some tools to fit such as wire strippers and a heat source.Works very well.
