I 1000% recommend getting a size up.(especially if you're female- wide hips are a blessing and a curse. IYKYK) I ended up buying two because the first one was literally an inch or two off my size. I kept both because I gave the first one I ordered to a buddy of mine because we were groomsmen ( yes, my groom had 3 female groomsmen in an Irish wedding) in the same wedding. The quality for this product is great and I love the adjustable snaps on the waist to get a better fit. Also the POCKETS! The pockets are a great size to fit multiple things, my phone, the rings etc. The kilt itself is fairly light weight in my opinion and I got the Nightwatch one because it was the grooms family colors and it complimented the rest of my suit. If you want the material to be a bit soft and less starchy soak the kilt in some fabric softener and use light heat to dry it gives it a more form fitting look.

Hi, I bought the usual size and returned it because it was too big. Beautifully made. Would recommend it, just beware of size.
