NovaTraveler 3 Wheel Rollator Walker, All Terrain 8” Wheels, Includes Bag, Basket and Tray, Purple

Item purchased from Amazon 3/16/19. Had it about a week now, and have gone from 4-star to 5-star in the time Amazon approved my review. The star upgrade due to the success of my trials and putting it through its paces, but it was purchased and used solely for indoor usage.Background: Male, 6'1, 195, severe neuropathy in legs and feet, with balance issues, and muscle damage in both legs from hip to toes. Purchased this item for indoor usage only because I am getting tired repairing black marks, broken trim, repairing walls & repainting door with my traditional 4x4 rollator/tank. And this in a large range we build ADA compliant with all doors 36" wide.My opinion this item is primarily for indoor usage and as a "transport" unit such as doctor visits, but the elderly and fragile should have a companion with them (possible side tipping), further details below. In my opinion not for for everyday usage outdoor, great for indoors with the proper training. Some individuals are better off with a 4-wheel device, especially if they rely on the rollator to pull themselves up from the floor or a seated position and even that requires finesse, trust me on that always lock the brakes for safety on those moves or down you go.This product deserves a 5-star rating (for my usage and skills), but it would be nice to have another 2-inches to the handle shaft and another one or two additional holes needed to raise the handles high enough for a 6' 1" person. As a mechanical engineer I clearly understand the trade-offs in raising the center of gravity and possible tipping, but I also understand that people can also be a little careless with equipment.After reading the reviews, come on folks brake problems really, have you ever rode a bicycle, adjusted brakes heard of "pliers" ? The brake are delivered tight, there are thumb screws to adjust, took 5 minutes to eliminate a 1/2 dozen 1-stars.Complaints about stability. I would not recommend this for someone that relies on a walker or rollator to get up from a side position. Duh, the laws of physics it's a tripod, not a 4x4.The product meets or exceeds my expectations. It is narrow, light, easy to maneuver, especially in tight spaces. The bag is very deep and holds lots of stuff safely. The basket is somewhat useless for my purposes, but it does hold the top lid very sturdy the lid does not pop off, and the basket and lid remove in a second when you need to close-up the walker for transportation. I carried a full cup of coffee across a tile kitchen, over a threshold across hardwood to our computer room in a large ranch (2800 sq/ft) home not a drop spilled, as the large tires are like cushions.In summary, light weight, collapses in seconds, if traveling leave the basket and top at home they will just be in the way. Great little product. One more item, don't try to drill more holes in the handle tubing to address the fit it is not safe (from an engineers perspective).

If you don’t need to sit down on your rollator, consider this sturdy 3-wheeler! It’s super maneuverable around furniture and in crowded spaces, breaks down easily to put in your vehicle, and is a snap to open. The brakes lock securely and the basket, tray, and bag make it easy to haul your necessities. Bonus: the color matches my vehicle almost perfectly!The rollator comes in a box and is super easy to assemble; just slide the handles in and adjust the length correctly per the instructions, add the basket and tray if you want to use them, and enjoy the ease of mobility!This is my third one…I gave the first two away when I was done using them after recovering from two knee surgeries spaced several years apart and the recipients loved them, too. I needed a new one for a different medical issue and was really impressed with how quickly it arrived. I hope my condition will improve to the point I can give this one away, too!

The Nova Traveler rollator I purchased replaces one of the same model I've used for 4 years. It is the same good design, easy to handle and fold into small spaces, so long as the storage bag is not very full. It gives me support for walking with spinal stenosis and pinched nerves in my lower back. I use my Traveler everywhere I go. The new rollator's wheels, on the right in the photo, have a more durable appearance and won’t show road soil like the old one. The larger wheels are a big help in getting over thresholds, uneven sidewalks and grassy areas. The basket is easy to slip off and on - I use a small bungee cord to hold the basket more securely to the handle supports. Maintenance over the 4 years includes replacement hand grips (they became loose over time) and wheels (two old style wheels lost bearings and became wobbly). The cup/phone holder in the photo was purchased separately and does not come with the Traveler.

An excellent product in design and usefulness. My wife has balance issues but loves to walk miles daily. I bought this with the idea that due to its fat tires it would be easier to roll on turf as well as hard surfaces. It hits the mark perfectly. Because it’s a three-wheeler instead of four, there’s less rolling resistance despite the wide tires, on turf, because of the wide tires. Extremely quiet on paved surfaces, too. The narrower shape presents easy access to crowded aisles in department stores, yet stability is outstanding. Before I gave it to her I intentionally placed most of my weight on one handle to test resistance to tipping. It was great! In addition, because it is a triangle without a seat, she is able to walk closer to the outboard wheels, allowing her a more upright posture, instead of leaning forward. Much better for her back! Moreover, the triangular shape makes it stable when folded so no need to lean it against a wall when parked at a restaurant, a home, etc. The absence of a seat, which was rarely used on her 4-wheeler, is compensated by the spacious zippered utility bag between the handles. Very useful for her. Lastly, the triangular design makes for easy storage in the car. Can be placed either in the cargo area or behind the front seat. Ultimately, for her use this is a superior product. Highly recommended for those who need maneuverability, compactness, multi surface accessibility and yet good stability and don’t depend on a seat feature.

I have a balance problem and I find that I am using this more often as it makes me feel a lot more confident walking. I find it very stable and I use the basket and my purse fits nicely into the zippered pouch too. When I go in the car it fits neatly behind the driver’s seat (after i slip the basket off). It is a little pricey and that’s why I deducted a star, but it is very well made and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a little help walking.

Muy bueno, resistente, fácilmente plegable y el tamaño de las llantas favorece mucho el rodaje en piso irregular.

I found this product to be a well built and very stable walker to use. The 3 wheel design makes this walker very easy to get up close and personal to things and the 2 hand brakes only adds to it's stability. The wire basket and tray on the front and heavy gauge vinyl bag on the back makes this a very convenient and handy walker to use.This Nova 3-Wheel Walker is a incredibly good value for the money. If you want a very good, light weight walker to use around your home I would recommend you give this walker a try.
