I have not opened these packages yet but they arrived in a timely manner. I have used this serum for years and it is the only thing I have found that will keep my naturally curly hair from frizzing in humid weather.

I'm very disappointed in my purchase because John Frieda Co chged the extra strength SERUM formula and the bottle on the left in my picture I sent is what now sells on the shelves in local stores and on Amazon (its the new bottle)but this particular store has the picture posted of the older formula on their store on Amazon which is misleading because us loyal customers to FRIZZ EASE are desperately wanting the older formula it has different ingredients and works better on our hair(in my pic is the bottle on the right side) So I don't understand why this store keeps posting a pic of the older formula bottle on their website they need to replace it with the new formula bottle on their website which is in my picture on the left side is the new bottle because this is what they are selling! It's misleading to customers that are ordering and then when we receive the order we are so disappointed when we open the pkg PLEASE PLEASE change your picture in your advertisement on AMAZON!

For reference, I have baby-fine caucasian hair that is basically a cotton ball if I wash it and then do nothing to it. It has taken me years to figure out how to fix my stupid sensitive hair. So, I can get twisty locks if I apply certain products and dry it naturally, or straight if I apply certain products and use hot tools on it. I discovered this product years ago - as in decades - and it has been the best single thing to help me have better luck with styling my hair. So yes I am just as upset with the changes to this product as everyone else is, and the fact that merchants everywhere are NOT updating their listing pictures - and this is very misleading. It's July of 2022 and I ordered the 3-pack and it IS with bamboo. The original, from decades past, was the best but... Getting the bamboo version (which is NOT pictured, the previous version is pictured) is just going to have to be ok. This is because i found out that JFrieda has changed this product yet AGAIN. UGH!! They have updated their 'iconic formula' as per the newest bottle. Now it has argan, coconut and moringa oils so who knows if that's going to work on my hair at all. All I can say is that the more varied stuff I put on my stupid sensitive hair, the less I can do with it. The bamboo version does not work as well as the original, but it helps enough that I keep using it on my difficult hair. I'm glad I bought 3 bottles as that will last me a very long time. Just a thought for the manufacturer.... when you change an 'iconic' formula - it is no longer iconic. That's just logic. SO STOP MESSING WITH THE FORMULA JOHNNY AND GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL!!! SHEEESH!!!
