Snow Sprite Deodar Cedar (Himalayan Cedar) CEDRUS DEODARA 2 - Year Live Plant

It arrived in perfectly healthy shape. Now it is safely planted in the ground and still looks really good!

It was sold as a 2 year tree yet it's clearly a grafted twig of a branch of a tree. Its also absolutely NOT a 2 year old. Its barely bigger than a Starbucks coffee cup as seen in the photo.

What I liked was the packaging and healthy root systems. What I did not like was the over pricing. The seller says in the fine print that the picture is just a picture of what it could be someday, and I knew this. It's common for sellers to show stock images. Some sellers show the real thing they are sending. But if I had seen the actual tree I would be getting, I would have just gone to a local nursery and purchased a larger more established cedar for the same price. I am disappointed but I will make the best of it. Perhaps in 10 years if I am not dead I will have a nice exotic cedar like the picture used to advertise. I give it 3 stars overall. 5 stars for the healthiness of the plants.

So far so good. It's growing. Hope to see it survive the winter.

I brought 3 of these back to life after they arrived looking pretty dead. I revived them and babied them for week and thought they were doing great. Then started to die, same location, same amount of sun, water and food. They dead as rocks. I've tried everything. Seller would never respond to me. Definitely not worth the $30 each one cost.

Very small single stem tree a few inches tall. I expected something more similar to the picture.

Fast shipping, great packaging and a good price for a seedling/grafted plant. I have purchased many, many trees from this seller and have been happy with every one of them!

Rather than a robust 2year old plant started from seed, (as these cedar’s should be propogated), I received a very poor graft of this plant. Nothing in the ad indicated it was a graft, and the condition of the graft was sub-par. And, while it did arrive in undamaged condition, beware! It came in a PO flat rate box with no security nor cushioning, with just plastic-wrap around its little pot. All other plants I’ve purchased online have come in plant-secure boxes. I received no response when I sent a message to the company, but I have to say, the return was simple and unquestioned. So, buyer beware, but I think you can feel safe about getting a refund if you want to risk it.
