Glasfloss Industries ZLP20254 Z-Line Series ZL 20x25x4 MERV 10 Pleated Filter (Pack of 6)

There are a number of older reviews that complain of either receiving a single filter or receiving them in a box that was too small, resulting in crushed filters. My experience:- 6 filters arrived as advertised- They were shipped in the manufacturer's original box, which was the perfect size to hold all 6 filters- The box and filters arrived undamaged- The filters are not individually wrapped, but I have no issue with this- Shipping was fast- As stated elsewhere, actual dimensions are 19.5" x 24.5" x 3.75"I chose these filters because:- I prefer a lower MERV rating (these are MERV 8). Every HVAC professional I have talked to says anything higher is just an "airflow killer". I don't need to live in a hypoallergenic environment, so I would rather have my A/C work more efficiently instead of catching every single piece of dust.- Other brands of "20 x 25 x 4" filters are too large and too tight a fit to get into my system.- They are what my HVAC technician uses.- The price is reasonable.I was happy that I was able to find these on Amazon, and hope they will still be available in 18 months when I need more. I think Amazon may need to tweak how they show "most helpful" reviews first, taking into consideration their age.

Purchased to replace filter in our new construction home. Went to the big box stores and all of them sold 20x25x4 that were actually larger than the stated size and of course they place the actual dimensions in the hardest to find locations possible!After reading the reviews i was a little skeptical but thought it was worth the risk given the low cost and quantity sold. I was not disappointed! Delivery came in a large box containing ALL 6 filters (not individually packaged fyi) stacked side by side. I was also concerned about the structural integrity of the filters themselves and thought that the manufacturer may have cut corners to lower the cost. That was certainly not the case. The filters are an exact replacement for the stock filter that came with my new unit. I would absolutely suggest giving these a shot. Make sure and physically measure the space in you unit to get actual dimensions or measure the filter currently in the unit. Also, please be aware that you will need to store the remaining unused filters somewhere. If you have limited space, this may become an issue.

I double-checked specs with my HVAC guy and he encouraged me to go ahead and try these. They are identical size and appear identical in materials and construction to the same manufacturer and model I replaced. This set of 6 filters was definitely a good deal for the price/ea, but plan ahead for the storage space of 20x25x24 inches (4"x6=24)! I actually had to discard the box and split my set into two different sets of 3. OBTW, the shipping-box I received was fine. I couldn't be happier.

The dimensions of this product are absolutely not 25x20x4 as advertised. The photo shows their alleged actual dimensions, but in fact they are 1/8" less than the already 1/2" less than the advertised size. Might not normally be an issue, but when air filtration is involved, the too small filter means some air could pass without being filtered. That said, we had a new AC system installed yesterday, and the filter slot is made in a way to accommodate this measurement discrepancy. However, on a Honeywell system they would be too small and air would pass unfiltered. A Honeywell filter probably would not even fit in our new system. So, they merit a higher rating.

Be VERY careful when ordering this item! You may want to reconsider. You get ONE filter when you order this item, not ONE case of filters. Note that the product description page very clearly says that this is a CASE of filters: "... Filter Size 20X25X4 Price listed is for a case of 6 ..." Because the item price is comparable to the cases I usually buy from local heating/cooling supply company, I decided to order a couple of cases and just keep them on hand. Imagine my surprise when I received not two cases, but only TWO filters.I'm in the process of sending back the two filters using the RMA labels I printed via the Amazon returns process. Hopefully Amazon will quickly make it right. We'll see.SECOND ROUND: Received my replacement order from Amazon. Two big boxes - looking good. Wrong. Two big boxes - ONE filter per box! I had already returned the first two boxes. Mistake - should have kept them, then I would have at least been 1/3 of the way there. This time opted for a more direct approach and selected Customer Service-Chat option. The net result - I'm getting a refund and sending back the two filters I received. Notwithstanding what the product page says, this is apparently the price for ONE filter, NOT a CASE of filters! So I'm going elsewhere - I can buy an entire case for about 8 bucks more than their price of a SINGLE filter at my local heating/cooling supply house. Should have bought locally to start with.On the bright side, Amazon was quick to authorize a refund and send the link to print an RMA label. I'm pleased with their quick response when I escalated the issue.

Not a perfect fit but close enough When my furnace repair person came out to check on the unit (no issues just a check up) he saw the non-$50 filter in there and questioned why and thought it was inferior. It's a very simple item, for the price it can't be bad. I had to tilt it so it covered the air gaps from the return to the blower motor housing. It still fit but not perfectly in the rails.

Box came in damaged and at least one filter damaged. Previous order also had damaged filters.

I have read several reviews giving product a one star because dimisions are slightly smaller than the actual size. This is perfect for me as to use product with dimensions stated would involve me having to remove a furnace door every time I had to change a filter and they fit my furnace perfectly. The price is right so this filter is five star in my book.
