i have celiac and can't use a regular knife to cut my friend's dog food - she uses the refrigerated fancy food. so i thought 'let me buy a cheap, functional knife on amazon.' not only does it cut the plastic wrapping in half great, it chops up the food great and i can use the knife sideways to spread out the food in the bowl and mix in fortiflora. it is fantastic. really comng in handy and making a task i was worried about fun and fast. i really love it. and it's good looking.

Someone mentioned in a review that this knife was a “toy”. Definitely not true. You’re not going to be disappointed purchasing this knife If you’re going to use it as a kitchen knife to cut food then it’s going to work well.

This will rust very easily if left wet for a short amount of time and the wood seems to rot quickly too.

Sharp and stays sharp. I use it to cut, spread, slice, dice and trim almost anything. Keep it on my counter as mymain go to knife.
