I have a late 1950's Qualcast petrol mower that had a leaky fuel pipe. I tried a number of local outlets but nobody did one or could help. Having stripped the old petrol tap down I found that the cork sealer had perished ( not bad for its age). I had a go at making one but gave up after trying several unsuccessful efforts with a variety of stuff. A friend said try Amazon, now why didn't I think of that! I found this product, but it said it was for a Suffolk Colt lawnmower which confused me a bit. As it was cheap I sent for it anyway and upon receiving it found it to be a perfect fit. No more leaks, and happy mowing. Recommended.

The petrol tap and pipe to fit most Qualcast mowers unfortunately did not fit mine.It arrived on time and delivery information was very good but as the price was quite low I have not returned the item or asked for a refund. The only reason for the 3stars is because of my disappointment that the tap did not fit. Regards, J. Lister

Petrol tap was faulty and only let a trickle of fuel through, on inspection it was found that the inlet hole was not fully drilled and when tap was turned on the outlet was also partially blocked. Cheap and nasty piece of junk .

No problems at all. Fitted my Suffolk Colt with no problems at all.
