It's SO flattering...really takes care of the tummy area. Just enough skirt coverage to hide any insecurities on the back side and accentuate legs. Im on the bigger busted side and it fits perfect. I left the padding in. I don't think it's removable anyway.

First, I would like to thank all the ladies who share their height, weight, bust size, and body type when writing reviews. It so helpful when trying to figure out which size to order when you can relate to other women with similar frames. So, before I go any further with my review, here’s my info: I’m a 57-year-old mother of four (all grown up) recently retired fitness instructor. I’m 5’3”, weigh 130lbs, and have a 36C bust. I have a shorter torso with longer legs, and now carry that extra weight in my abdomen (you know, that wonderful menopause bloat). After reading many reviews in my height& weight range, I ordered this swimsuit in a size 8 in the Polka Dot print. I received the swimsuit two days later and couldn’t wait to try it on. Not only does the suit fit PERFECTLY (thank you ladies!), the quality of the fabric & stitching is amazing! How amazing? Well, when I put it up against my $100+ Jantzen swimsuit (same style & also in a polka dot print) and asked my husband, daughters, & friends, which suit was the expensive one, they ALL picked this Hilar swimsuit! Then when I put it on, my daughters (who are brutally honest) all said it looked fabulous on me! And it does. It hides my stomach without making me look pregnant, and hugs in all the right places. I haven’t worn a bathing suit (my old ones no longer fit) for so long because I hadn’t been able to find a suit that I felt good in…until now! You won’t be disappointed.

I usually wear a size 14 and the xl fits perfectly however the tummy control isn't the best. The cups fit well and I can bend down without spilling out. I really like how it doesn't ride up whenever I move.

I LOVE this bathing suit; so much so that I purchased 3 of them! They are full coverage; but very pin-up girl style and flirty. The ruching gives your body a shapely look; and the little ruffles at the bottom is cute and flirty. I’m a size 4 in pants and skirts and a size 6 in tops. But because I’m busty (34G), I purchased a size 8. I always go up a size in bathing suits. The fit is on point for my bust size, a tad…just a tad larger in the body; but not noticeable, especially with the ruching. For further reference, I’m 5’4” and 125 pounds.

This swimsuit is so nice! It's made really well and is so comfortable! I'm 5'7, 200 lbs and a DD up top. I didn't think it was possible to find a swimsuit that made me feel comfortable in my own skin, without it being boring or too revealing. I wear a size 16 and that's what I ordered. Perfect fit! I almost went up a size(because of the twins), and I'm so glad I didn't. It cover's my boobs perfectly, showing a nice amount of cleavage. I ordered the green suit and black small polkadot. It was not my intention to keep them both, but I love them so much, they're both staying! It's been a long time since I've found a swimsuit that I loved this much. Both swimsuits fit the exact same way, just perfect! You will not be disappointed. Sexy & cute!

This is a very cute swim suit, but there is zero tummy control and all of the draping fabric going criss-cross across the tummy area doesn't hide anything, it actually makes it look bigger. That said, it's very comfortable and the chest fits me very well. The only reasons I'm not sending this back are because I thinkit has the potential to be flattering, if I lose 10 pounds and it's an overall adorable design. It will be gettingdonated to charity if the tummy area still looks huge after exercise and weight loss. I'm 5'1", 160lb, 36C and I ordered a 14.2023 Follow Up: I actually managed to gain 10 pounds and I wore this swimsuit almost all summer at the beach, I felt like a 1950’s pin up. Ideally losing 10 pounds and ordering the next size down would have been better but lesson learned - this suit works best if it’s either exact to your size or smaller. Any space makes you look bulky and makes you feel like you’re too big for the suit, order a size down to start, go from there. Snug is better with this suit.

Great design. I am kind of between large and medium at this point so got a large, the medium probably would hold in my belly bulges better but not sure my chest would fit. I think it could hold the belly a bit better, especially if it's labeled as a "shaper" suit. But overall I love it. The design is very retro and I love that it's not a halter, those give me headaches but they seem to be everywhere. Transparency is solid, can't see though it all all. Thickness is perfect, seems very durable and I'm not afraid to really pull when I put it on. Will be worn all summer!

The first time I put on the swimsuit, I felt something poking me under my right armpit. I looked and it was a 3 to 3 1/2 inch plastic piece that goes on the side of the breast under the arm. It’s to keep you from having side boobs. It was sticking through the fabric. The left side was ok. Also The strap on the right side was not sewn on. The color in the fabric was very soft and beautiful. I love the polkadots, & the little lace on the bottom. I could not wear it because the top kept sliding down. It was just a little large in the breast for me, but would’ve been fine if the straps would have worked. It does have some great tummy control and looked & felt great on and very comfortable. Having to return, I’m not much of a sewer. When you pay for something, you don’t want to have to repair it, especially if you’ve never worn it before.. Disappointed.😔 Because I loved it.

I loved everything about this swimsuit except there’s boning in it… should have looked closer at reviews or description perhaps. It’s ridiculously cute and so flattering but it’s not comfortable, boning? Why? especially for a swimsui…. ?!

the fit was terrible - did not like the how the bottom portion was made.
