I bought this USB hub for my Ford F-150 after Apple CarPlay stopped working, and this ended up being the perfect solution. Installation was extremely easy and required no tools at all—just pop the old one out, plug in the two wiring connectors in the back, and snap the new hub in place. The whole install took about 5 minutes. CarPlay immediately started working again with no issues. If you’re having USB or CarPlay problems in your F-150, this is an easy and affordable fix that works exactly as advertised.

Depending on what vehicle you’re putting this into, the plastic backing may not cover the factory opening/slot that it installs into. The unit works as it should.

Works perfect, though I have 2016 F150 and this was smaller than the stock in my truck. I read a review to switch the internal components’ very easy to do and works perfectly! They fit just fine don’t need a to be a technician to do so!
