The KX-TGD890 connects to Bluetooth audio devices that support HFP (Hands Free Profile), which includes almost all Bluetooth audio devices, such as wireless earbuds, headphones, hearing aids and speakerphones. This system cannot pair with smartphones

How do I pair my Bluetooth device to this phone?

Consult the Operating Instructions to turn on Bluetooth (note: the default position is OFF). After enabling Bluetooth, put your device into pairing mode; press and hold the PAIR button on your handset for about 3 seconds and listen for the beep.

How do I ensure the best quality sound from my paired Bluetooth headphones?

For best performance, we recommend using your Bluetooth headphones within 10 feet of the handset. The handset can communicate with Bluetooth headphones within a range of approximately 33 feet with no obstacles in line of sight.

How do I adjust the Bluetooth device volume?

Press the volume button repeatedly on the handset while using your headphones or other compatible device. Depending on the product, the receiver volume may not be adjustable.

How do I switch between paired Bluetooth devices?

Headphones that are on can be connected automatically with the paired handset, while headphones that are off will be disconnected from the handset.
