Nature2 Mineral Cartridge Replacement A30

I bought the Nature2 system when i purchased my pool. I used it every season for seven years. I always thought that my pool water was crystal clear because I took better pride in keeping my water balanced and pool cleaner than my neighbors. Even through strings of 90+ days my water was clear with no signs of algae even though my chlorine levels were low. Then I decided to try a summer without Nature2. The first season was great. Although I used a lot more chlorine than other years it seemed that I was saving money. The second year was terrible. During the hottest part of the summer my pool turned green almost overnight, even though I super chlorinated to try to head it off. After a week of continuous vacuuming, super chlorinating and balancing, the pool was still green. I started dumping in algaecide which cleared the pool temporarily. The short of it is, after about a three week battle and about $100 of chlorine and algaecide my pool finally cleared. I believe that my first season without Nature2 was successful because the pool water still contained some of the treatment from years of Nature2 use. The second year the pool developed a leak and I need to replace about half the water. Between the leak and heavy rains the pool was doomed. I'm back to using Nature2. The cartridge more than pays for itself in chemicals, work, and usability of the pool. I can't recommend this product highly enough.

My system "Calritec" that required a CRM25 cartige (or W29035). I could fit it in the holder, the two square holders and the connection seems the same. I replace it and it works. Someone with the same problem (the W29035 cost 150 with shipping) might find this interesting. On the label it says for pools 10,000 to 30,000 Gallons, just so you need to make your calculation. Mine is 25,000 so it should work, maybe will not last as long, will see.

When I purchased this I didn’t have the original box near me. I saw the A30 and knew that was the description on the original box. The model number that they give in the description is W28165 and when I got home to double check it it was the wrong number. I was worried I would have to return it. However when I received the product it was the W28166. The exact one I needed. So in the end I received the one I needed, but their item number in description is wrong.

We have used the Nature2 system on our pool for over 5 years now and every year, our pool has been crystal clear with low chlorine levels. It really is amazing how well this little cartridge works on such a large pool. I would prefer this over huge amounts of chlorine any day. Now I would like to note that this particular model is NOT designed for the Nature2 A type "Limited" systems, but it can be easily modified to work. I think that the pool stores sell the limited to keep business, but really the only change is a third hole in the bottom of the cartridge. So if your pool store is closing (like ours) or is a rip off (like ours), then I would recommend buying this and modifying as needed. All you need to do is either drill a hole where it is marked on the cartridge (already has the outline for it) or take a flat head screwdriver to pry off the yellow plate on the bottom and replace it with the plate from an old cartridge, which is what we did and it only took about 10 seconds of forceful prying. It does not affect the performance of the cartridge at all since the water flow goes through the center. Hopefully this helps! And if you have never used the Nature2 system, I highly recommend it! One star docked for not selling the limited model though...

I have been using this product for almost ten years now and I have never been disapointed. I follow the simple directions clearly stated in the owners manual which is inside the box. I use substantially less chlorine with the use of this product then without using it. Saving money! I have never had a problem with water quality even with hot summers, hard pool use (many people alot of the time) and a Maple tree close to one end of the pool. Everyone loves the low levels of chlorine because there is no eye burn or smell on your skin or bathing suit. Highly recommended by this satisfied consumer.

I bought this for a vessel that was never installed. I dropped it into my skimmer it fits perfectly. I run it for a few hours and that is it. I take it out then the pool chlorine level will stay exact perfect almost for about 4 weeks. Then I put it in again. I use 1/10 the chlorine. Only real issue you will have. If you put in chlorine. Your levels will NOT go down. So if your level is at about 3. Leave it a lone. Otherwise you will get a pool stuck at 5 for a few weeks.

The price was $20 less than the one advertised for the limited yet it has the three pegs needed for the nature2 limited. Use less chlorine and have less problems with algae. Worth the extra to me for the mineral cartridge. Think in the long run I save money with less chlorine.
