This is a very low cost drone, so I have to evaluate it based on the price point. For the price, it does have quite a few features, headless operation (orientates the drone to the operator - not according to the orientation of the drone - a very nice feature for beginners), a decent camera (for the price point), can do a few tricks, comes with two batteries, includes replacement wings and wing guards (very helpful). It is very compact (you can hold it in your hands with the wings folded in). It comes with a carrying case that easily fits everything in. It has three "gears" which allows for varying speeds for drone control, again, nice for beginners. It also has one touch take off and landing - something that is very helpful. With the free app (be very careful what you click on when installing - there are a lot of pop up advertisements they try to get you to click on during the install that is very annoying) you can take pictures and video, however, you must manually adjust the camera rotation on the drone before you launch it into the air. If the drone goes too high (or there is a local barometer change), it will cut the power and it will fall to the ground, most likely breaking, so don't let it go higher than 50 meters. The downside of this drone is that it is very weak, if there is almost any amount of wind, it will be carried with the wind, so plan on using it in the early morning or late evening when the wind has died down. Lastly, I had a difficult time keeping the drone from drifting, it seemed no amount of calibration was enough to keep it from drifting, even with no wind. This will make if challenging to a beginner. Because of this issue, you will need about an acre or more to learn to use it, or else it will be crashing into everything. If it is getting away from you or about to smash into something, hit the landing button to land it before crashing.

We got this drone for our son's birthday, and it's been a pretty fun toy. It works as advertised, the 1080p camera is surprisingly good, and he loves doing the 360 flips. It's easy for him to control, even with the headless mode. However, the battery life is a little short; we're constantly swapping batteries.
