This is an enjoyable orange bitter that when mixed with a lager or pale ale, become an aperitif in another class. Picon Biere Bitter unlocks the potential in a beer, increasing its flavour and its ABV. This is a unique blend with essences of gentian and quinine, which is added to a base of distilled oranges. Lastly, caramel sugar and syrup are added to create the bitter. You may need to try it a couple of times to get the balance right (we recommend 4 parts beer to 1 part Picon), but once you get it right, it is easy to appreciate the heritage and flavour that Picon brings to the table.
