Seriously. They do stink, but it doesn't last or make the house smell bad. I'm not bothered because I like the quality and she is so happy with them. I'm pretty sure their scent is adding to her pleasure. As long as the quality is as good as it can be for her, I'm happy. I've been buying natural another brand on Amazon for several years which is cheaper (still a fortune), but decided to try these hoping for even better quality and nutrition given they are grass fed. She definitely prefers them. I hope the price will go down so I can make this our regular bone. We are never without this type of treat. This was our first order, and I was not sure what to expect based on the reviews. Ours are all good size, no skinny ones in the bag and a few that were really thick. They seem to me like the best quality of any I have bought before and we only buy the very best, so that is saying a lot. They lasy a long time, as expected in this type of product. She has a very sensitive stomach and we only feed very high quality organic grain free food, and so far so good she can digest these well.

They do smell. I thought it was my dog that had the odor at first 😂😂 I kept saying "omg she stinks!!" Then I realized it was the stick. But, I can deal with it. It's not unbearable at all. My dog goes crazy over these things. They keep her busy for such a long time! I can't run out of them. I always keep them in the house now. Even my mom keeps them in her house for when she watches my baby girl for me 😂. My baby girl is a 1yr old pitbull btw (so she likes to CHEW lol).

My dog is obsessed with these; I've been buying this brand for years. However, I will no longer be buying them due to the decline in quality over the last few months. The past three bags I've bought all had crystal-like pieces falling out of the center, and the pieces get everywhere in the house. The most recent bag not only had the pieces in the middle, but they smelled like death. Normally bully sticks smell funky, but these were so bad I don't think it's even safe to give my dog.

My 60-lb hound really loves these -- they're big enough to last her quite a while. Unlike the thigh bones I've given her in the past, she doesn't lose interest after a day or two. She kept going back to her bully stick over and over, even carried it over to her bed at night (like she was afraid a burglar would break in and steal it, I guess). Some of the other beef chews I've given her in the past (knuckles, for instance, and some of the meatier chews) gave her TERRIBLE intestinal distress. Like, cleaning up really big messes for 2 days distress. These bully sticks didn't trouble her digestion at all. That was a huge relief. I don't give her any chews that aren't made from food (no plastic or rubber -- nothing she can't eat). Honestly I can't watch her nosh on a chew and expect to take it away if it starts to break up. Who actually does that??? I'm surprised they're so affordable, considering they're organic and hormone-free and all that. My girl absolutely loves them and I'm happy to find something she loves that doesn't give her an upset tummy. I'll keep them handy as a special treat, especially when there's a thunderstorm which freaks her out. Having something distracting to chew on seems to help her stay calm.
