Tiny, Perfect Things

We love this book! Very simple, but valuable story. I would recommend this for gifting for littles 2 and up!

This is a sweet story of a grandfather and granddaughter taking a walk. Along the way, they stop to notice all the beauty around them in the smallest of details.

I love this book! The artwork is simple yet the details and colors that were included made them seem so elegant and unique. We loved searching the pages for something new in the artwork every time. I love the message and my daughter enjoyed reading with me. I plan on adding other books from this author to our collection. Collection worthy and stunning!

This is my 18m olds favorite book right now (as well as her 16m old cousins!). It’s very thoughtfully written and beautifully illustrated. The words on each page are short and simple but the art is the opposite. It is so beautiful and detailed. We spend a lot of time on each page just looking and pointing out what we see. It’s great for learning words! My daughter has learned a lot from this book in just the few short weeks we’ve owned it. Just today we were on a walk and she squealed with delight and pointed to a snail and said “sna!!” She recognized the snail from the book. It was the first time she had seen one in real life. I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s a really great one=)

I read this book to my baby and then when we go out on our daily stroller ride I point out any "tiny, perfect things" that we see. He may be too young to understand but it encourages another layer of interaction between us and his brows are always furrowed as he takes it all in. I love that the family featured in this book is multi-generational and multi-cultural. I also love how the illustrations in this book, while gorgeous, look like they could be drawn by a kid! It looks like a mix of color pencil, pen, and paint. I think this may be inspiring for older kids who may use it as inspiration in their own drawings. All in all, I am so happy to have this book in our library!

I buy a lot of books for my sons and I am a sucker for sweet books. With that being said this one I bought more for me and surprisingly my two year old loves it. Like I said I buy a lot of books. I have all the big popular ones and this is one that holds his attention most which is saying A LOT. An additional plus that’s it is sweet and have a good message. 10/10 recommend.

This is a WONDERFUL book! I found it reading the reviews for another book and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. Not only is it beautifully illustrated but it’s well written. My two year old loves finding different hidden tiny perfect things on each page. When we go on walks, we now search for tiny perfect things :) It’s one of her favorites that is in regular rotation on our bookshelf. It has one to two sentences per page. Very easy to read and follow for a baby/toddler. A++

This is currently my favourite children’s book and my son loves it to. I bought it as my son and I like to take nature walks and we notice every little thing along the way. I love the last page of the book that encourages you to seek and find- it’s so fun! It has such a beautiful cover too. Would be a nice gift.

This book is so lovely. It has an easy to follow along story and the artwork is beautiful. I loved the message.

It’s a beautiful book with wonderful illustrations and beautifully focuses on tiny perfect things. I highly recommend it! I removed one star as the top edge of the book and back were a little dirty as seen in the photos. While that was okay for me since, it was purchased for our kid, it may be a problem if you’re purchasing it as a gift.

Beautiful book with lovely illustrations. Love the story and a quality book. Lovely reminder children as well as adults to stop, take it slow and look for the wonder that is around us on a daily basis.
