Copper Parrot Kit

Let's start by saying, yes you can get all of this from a supply house or hardware store. That being said, for the convenience factor alone, this is a great kit. I have made these in the past from scratch. This kit was all pre cut and ready to be assembled. You will need some basic soldering skills and knowledge, to assemble the unit.It would be nice if the kit came with a ball valve, for the bottom vertical connection. This would make it much easier to drain, upon cleanup.

It is hard for me to get out and get around! This kit had all the parts I needed to make my own Copper Parrot and mod it the way I wanted!

If you buy one, make sure you alot funds to have a professional to soldier it for you. Connections are to close together to get a good joint. Found it easier to make my own out of cheap stuff from the hardware store !!!

For The Price, Not Cool… You can pick up the fittings and tubing ant a big box store for 1/3 the price and cut everything to meet your Hight needs. I did not buy this but is the best illustration of what a parrot should look like. If this was an assembled piece with a nice stained base for 150.00 I would consider it due to the time and know how but for me, that was not the case and ended up with a far superior end result making my own. If your not patient at a hardware store looking for fittings in a huge isle, this is for you!

Would have been better if assembled but still a great value and product

It's a puzzle to put together. If you need it, and have the tools to put it together, great! Otherwise, get the one already assembled!! No price break if you have to buy the supplies to make this. Just the experience.... To me that's more valuable. And I did it with my son, who will surely inherit this item as it is made to last!

The pieces are all cut to the correct length and slide together easily. Hit it with a little solder and in no time you are looking at your own semi-handmade parrot.
