Works great for red light therapy and a low cost infrared sauna. I installed four bulbs in inexpensive 300 watt heat bulb rated reflector clamp lamps inside my Relax Cube steam sauna tent with reflective aluminum interior also from Amazon. Now I can use the tent for a steam or dry sauna with red light therapy. Gets up to around 104 inside which is perfect for a 20 minute sauna session.

Happy! This glass - bulb All red, so be carful! My lamp broke (2nd n a yr), so thought bulb went out. Cldnt see inside build trying diff angles in diff light! I had bought two bulbs I tried the other and it didn’t work either so that was that Aha moment. So I broke down & bought Another IR standing lamp (🤞🏽On this one), low n behold the bulbs worked again! Yah~ Theyre Not the heavy glass ( like headlight covers 1’s, yet work great & w/10stage of brightness, on 10 it doesn’t illuminate the whole house, as the harder headlight tipped ones do! Hv bought from this seller before & now, I will continue with this seller, havnt failed me Once!!

I set up two lights yesterday, using the "Woods 166SW Clamp Lamp with 10 Inch Reflector and Bulb Guard 300-Watt Bulb" (can be found here on Amazon). I was able to secure the lights to a desk and lay on the floor using my yoga mat. I was not in any pain, but I could tell from use that these lights do have penetrating effects. Like the box says, I recommend using protective goggles. I think that is important and should not be overlooked. Since you will likely be using goggles, make sure you are familiar with navigating your therapy area blindfolded. I bought these to replace some lights that came with an infrared light. I'm hoping they work even better.
