Fabulous paste food colorings which are ideal for coloring Sugar Paste or Royal Icing. All colors are strong and will deepen on time. We recommend they are used sparingly. Used sparingly you can achieve the most delicate of pastel colors while adding more gives you vibrant colors without the consistency of the product you are working with. You can paint with them by adding a little water although Rejuvenator Spirit or Dipping Solution better. Review: It was very hard to mix into my cake batter Review: Great for colouring fondant icing. Doesn't alter the taste like a lot of other brands. Easy to make different shades by altering the amount used, which is helpful.

Black colouring is always tricky, you need to use lots and let it sit for a bit. I recommend getting to dark grey and then leaving it for a while (royal icing) and it will darken, and dry darker too. Sugarflair colours are usually pretty good, I've never had a clumpy black, and because it's a paste, you don't risk making your icing overly runny while you're darkening it. This is the black I always buy as I'm never disappointed.
