Great value!
Very fast delivery !!Quality seems good. Comes with point that needs to be sharpened.Handle seems strong even if it is a little light. Haven't had the chance to try it yet but I am sure it will fit my needs. Cannot argue the price!

Danielson customer service is worthless. I will never buy another Danielson product.
Danielson customer service is worthless. I spoke to 2 women that completely wasted my time. I was sent to the 2nd woman to get me the Amazon number to call which I could not find on Amazons site, anywhere. Makes me think they don't want to hear from you.Now i am talking to a foreigner who speaks poor English. Trying to complete a return to Amazon. Absolute joke.

Would be concerned if I had to rely on this for a trophy.
Have not actually landed a fish with it yet, but have it set up in my boat for halibut. The shaft is slightly bent, which probably doesn't really matter, but the tip is very dull, which probably does matter. I may get a different model next year because I don't want to rely on this one and lose a trophy. Compared to the cost of the boat, a nicer harpoon would be a small expense anyways.

Works okay until shaft warps
Works. Would be better if the shaft was metal or plastic. Wood wraps in Alaska weather.

Not for Florida Gators
The harpoon's metal tip bent on my first jab. In Florida we can only use a bang stick attached to a harpoon to dispatch an alligator, for recreational Hunting. Luckily it was a small gator about four feet so I had the luxury of being able to take multiple jabs. After my first attempt at fixing the problem it started to work better but it is still not up to the task for big gator hunting in Florida.
