Instructions: The product is divided into two parts: the form of A+B - Part A: The top is a matte surface (the same as other stickers), and the back is magnetic (the interaction with the front of Part B plays an attractive role) - Part B: The top is magnetic (with the adsorption under the A part), the back is the 3M adhesive (posted on the printer platform, which plays a fixed role) Description: Easy removal 3D printing platform for PLA and PLA-based materials. To use it, simply stick the bottom plate onto your build plate and start printing, peel up the top plate with finished prints, then peel off the top plate from the prints. Snap the top plate back into place for next round of printing. Feature: 1. Introducing the first ever removable, magnetically secured, build surface for hassle free model removal. Say goodbye to all those removal tools, spatulas, and knives with this genius design. 2. Flexible 3D Printing Build Plate: reusable, provides a durable and stable build surface whilst preventing model warping. Kindly note: 1. This ENDER3 Magnetic Build Surface is rated for PLA filaments ONLY. Any other filaments with high shrinkage coefficients may experience malfunction or decrease in magnetic force over time. This will not prevent your printing from warping. 2. This 3D Printer Heated Bed Cover is not for use with high-temperature printing applications above 70°C.

Didn't last
After 5 Prints (AmazonBasics ABS), the build surface lost a chunk of material to my last print. Now, i need to get another bed.

Surface Doesn't Last
After 5 Days of use: It is already showing scuffs, and what looks like similar wear as the other posters. I have gotten more than 7 prints on it though. I am using PLA on it and I like the surface prints stick well. I believe ABS may be a lot tougher on it, I do not know if it will last.8 Days of use: I see the first flake of this starting to come off. The print surface does NOT last. Downgraded to 2 stars.I have a backup glass plate if this fails but based on the wear you can already see in the surface after a few days I feel like its got a month of life in it. If it holds up I will come back and update this review.

An AMAZING Upgrade (for a short time, anyway)
I was pretty happy with the stock Ender 3 bed, but "everyone" recommended upgrading to glass, so I did; What a difference! Adhesion is fantastic and, as soon as it cools off after printing, parts pop right off -- no prying, twisting, spatula, x-acto... couldn't be easier.Probably obvious if you've done this before but, if this is your first print bed upgrade, don't forget that you'll need to adjust the Z-stop up a little bit to accommodate the new height (I wasn't thinking about that and managed to put a little scratch in mine. Way up near the front, so not an issue for 99% of prints, but... just wanted to warn/remind anyone else new to 3D printing)UPDATE: After only a couple days of use, the coating on the glass seems to be etched with the pattern of the last print, and nothing sticks anymore. Not sure if that's a warranty thing, or if I just have to figure out how to remove the coating (which is what made this really nice) and use it as a plain old glass bed. ..if that's even possible. Horrible product
My magnetic surface was getting worn down, so I decided to try a glass bed. BIG mistake.First 2 or 3 prints were fantastic. But it was all down hill from there. I've only made about 8 prints on this glass bed and a lot of the coating has come off on the bottoms of various prints. That first pic shows a bunch of spots where the coating has come off. There's also now a layer of print that I'm not going to bother removing since I'll never use this thing again. The last straw was the print today where a chunk of glass came off on the bottom of a print. The 2nd pic shows the wavy hole left in the glass and the shiny piece on the printed part is that piece of glass.

Not a durable coating, dissolves with alcohol
What good is a print surface that dissolves in plain old rubbing alcohol? None at all.I have installed a PEI sheet on the other side, that works great. As far as the "Ultrabase" coating, it's a joke. Works for a short while then begins to decay. I have used other legit Ultrabase products that have no sensitivity to alcohol. This is a bad copy.Buyer's remorse here.

Great adhesion, great upgrade, puzzled by poor reviews
I have no regrets purchasing this bed. I have been using it for nearly four months now, and have printed upwards of 30+ prints on the bed with no issues. I've cleaned the bed with alcohol only twice during this time, and I've seen no evidence of damage or the textured coating peeling up or wearing off. While I don't understand all the sub 3 star reviews, I will wager that they are due to one (or more) of the following:- Improper bed level- People not waiting for the build plate to cool before removing the print- {related to the former) People using scrapers or tools to force part removalYour prints will stick hard to this surface until the bed cools, at which point they will practically remove themselves. I cannot stress enough to be patient and wait for the bed to cool to at least 35C or below before attempting to remove a print. For reference, I received my Ender 3 Pro Christmas of 2018 and knew nothing about 3d printing before then. I would still consider myself a novice.Happy printing!

Replacement of Ender 5 Magnetic plate
I got the replacement bed because of a couple of reasons, 1) the magnetic mat that came with my ender 5 show rippling and prints were all over the place; 2) wanted a cleanable surface that was extremely reusable and didn't hinder current operations. The Ender 3 glass was the same size x and y with the ender 5 so it was a no brainer; although searching for Ender 5 replacements is hard. Now that I know that most Ender 3 and Ender 5 items are interchangeable it is ok. I had to do minor adjustments with the new bed, the layers laid down nicely and were easy clean up with a scraper and some isopropyl alcohol. There are some marks on the glass from some failed prints that didn't adhere well or were smooshed to due to PEBKAC errors, but over the glass bed is a good addition to my Ender 5 printer.

Made all the Difference
Ender 3 pro bed had a magnetic surface that was not level/even, so I was limited to leveling one part of the bed and only printing one thing at a time. I purchased this glass bed to create a level surface. I use the common trick of spraying the surface with hairspray before use (cleaning it back off with water every 5 or so prints and starting over). Now I give the glass bed about 5 minutes extra for the glass to fully heat, and I get good prints all over the bed now. Best upgrade ever!
