Very thick and great for washing car

This came in a non working transparent zip lock bag. No way to know if this is 1100 GSM or more but it is heavy. It is thick. If you wash vehicle with running tap and then use this. It is absorbing all water. With usual lighter micro fiber cloth takes at least two repetitions. As mentioned by many others, once it is soaked it needs efforts to squeeze water out as well as takes time to dry.
