Liquid Foundation

I love this foundation! I first use a good moisturizer then the foundation. It goes on like silk. I don't use powder to set it but I do apply blush and wala, i'm done. I am 64 years old and this foundation does not settle in creases and it doesn't look cakey. I will definitely be ordering this again.

The product is smooth and easy to apply, the color perfect on my skin, but it does not give me the matte look I was hoping for. It also does not last or give me the full coverage look I need all day. I even used my oil-free matte primer (from another company) hoping it would help lessen the shine, but it still left my T-zone somewhat oily, which I hate. I do love almond sweet smell of the makeup, which I find to be interesting and unique. Customer service is amazing and willing to work with every customer to correct their order- I am currently communicating with customer service to get the makeup that will best work for my skin.

So far, so good. I am 59 years old, have enlarged pores and broken capillary veins on my face, and am quite fair. The ivory was a good choice for winter - I only need to warm it up with a bit of bronzer and blush and it is a perfect match. The coverage is good, though I do apply 2 thin layers on my nose and chin. The pump provides enough for the entire face if moisturized to add slip, plus a bit left for the backs of my hands (which is where I place it for application with the other hand). The texture is fairly thin but powdery - don't know how else to describe it. It dries quickly and would not slip freely over my drier, older skin were I not using moisturizer beneath - I did manage it one day just to see, but older women will understand what I mean - in my younger, super oily days, it would have been great. I'm happy with it especially since it doesn't require touch ups. Normally, I am powdering over foundation several times a day to keep it from melting off or into my skin - not so with this. So coverage, texture, and the fact that it lasts through the day are all pluses with this one.

If I had known about this make up foundation, I would have starting wearing make up again sooner. I went through a 7-year "no make up" phase. This product goes on easily (1 pump is sufficient), covers really well and looks natural. I do not even need to use powder afterward. Stays on all day, yet washes off with mild soap and a facial brush. I have never before been so pleased with a foundation.

Have to say ! This foundation not only works well, it smells fantastic ... like cocoa ! My husband said I smelled as good as I looked with Shimarz!!!Try it... you won't be disappointed!!!

All natural, no chemicals and it actually COVERS???? wow. I am so impressed with this formula. I have various health issues and using anything with parabens or phylates is out for me. I have been slowly trying most brands out there and while I found some that were satisfactory, getting full coverage was not happening. I am mid 40's with some redness to my skin and some melasma and really wanted something that would even out my skin tone. AND I work outside in Florida year round. SO pretty heavy test for any foundation. Now I am only one my first bottle so haven't worn this through the worst of Florida humidity but so far it lets my skin breathe and doesn't run or make me sweat. (if you've ever worn a heavy foundation that doesn't let your skin breathe you know the forehead sweating I am talking about, eww.)This has a full coverage so well I actually am using more blush to add color back into my face again. That's not a complaint, it's what I wanted, completely even skin tone. I have also blended it with a BB cream for a slightly lighter look too.And if that weren't enough they send out an email to see if the color and everything worked out well for you. Now usually those are automated emails, blah blah blah. Well this one said if not the right shade we'll send you a different one, just reply. I was like really? In fact I had gotten the almond for my tan but genetically light toned skin and it was in fact a bit dark (more like my end of summer tan color). So I replied back and said actually it is a bit dark. IMMEDIATE reply back from company saying sounds like you could use the shade Cork, we're making a new batch and will send to you when it's ready next week. Daaaamnnn. And sure enough I got another email saying it had shipped and the color is spot on. You don't have to return the other bottle they just send you a different one! How's that for serious customer service??? So now I have a great shade for now, and one that will work for me later in summer or even when mixed with a lighter cream.I am very impressed with the quality of the foundation AND the quality of the company!! FULL coverage that works on mature skin and with no bad things I can't expose my immune system too. BEST STUFF EVER!!! Happy customer!

I like this foundation, although it doesn't give the same coverage of uneven skin tone as I might like. I wear it everyday - used to use powder with my other foundation but find I only need to use pressed powder on my nose to control oil/shininess. It stays on well otherwise and looks natural. I switched because I no longer choose to use cosmetics with toxic ingredients and most everything over the counter is toxic.
