I've gone through a few different brands over the years. This one outperformed all the others in multi-day downpour conditions. I attended a multi-day field training exercise where 2 of the 3 days were a constant downpour. Prior to this, I tore apart my rifle and applied this stuff liberally, knowing I was gonna be dealing with a good deal of rust when it was over. I tore my rifle apart again after the exercise to dry out. To my surprise, there was not a single spot of rust on any of my rifle internals. Every piece was still covered in CLP.
