Gave it as a gift and they loved it

I love large pieces like this and find it frustrating how often the top piece does NOT lay right. Many do what this one does, which is a tendency to tip out on that upper collar portion, so that it more sags that keeps that nice curve. If for pics, you can adjust it, but I buy jewelry to wear it...and I don't like having to make modifications to get it to simply lay flat, but that is what I did end up doing on this, like I have on others. Also I ordered it in silver as well as gold. The silver was constructed correctly, but the gold had a lower area that had a chain area that was longer on one side than the others, so it made the bottom lay crooked. Again, I modified just with some jewelry pliers to remove the extra rings and it was simple, BUT it looked very crooked as it was and I know lots of people do not want to have to do that.I still gave it 4 stars because unlike some reviews I read here, mine have seemed to behave very sturdy and I see no reason to expect them to break easily or soon. There may be some ways they could improve construction, but I have found no weakness in the construction. And I like them enough I bought a second one in the silver as a gift to give.

This piece is impressive. The heft of this necklace surprised me. For the price point, it is well made. I have tried it on several times and handled it (in and out of the bag) and none of the intricate pieces broke or fell off. Did I say "intricate" , this piece has so many features linked together; AND the whole thing just really works.--it came with a body chain which I have not use yet.--it has an adjustable chain with a good sized claw hook.--It is a beautiful piece of art/accessory. I can't speak to the durability or long-term quality, but I do appreciate the panache I see when I've paired it with just a simple white sweater, as shown in my pics.--I will say the piece is heavy and lays solidly on your chest.I really like this piece and I recommend it.

Don’t get me wrong I like it!!!! Only thing is that the gold is SUPER BRIGHT. I wish they would tone the gold down just a notch. It looks like costume jewelry for sure. But if you have a certain look your going for. It’s Hot!!!
