We recently had an infestation of large houseflies in our basement. Already had a bug zapper plugged in on one end of the room that we usually use in our yard but, wanted a second one to get them under control before they reproduced and we had to go through it again! Well, this little beauty was unstoppable!! Happy to report that the fly situation is under control thanks to the help of this unit! The only imporovement I would recommend is a deeper or larger pan to catch the dearly departed. Had to empty it quite frequently. If you put it outdoors it would fill rather quickly! Other than that, I can't complain!! :)

It didn't seem like it was working, but then I checked the tray and wow! Most others have a big zapping sound when killing bugs but this one was quiet. An occasional light burnt smell was the only drawback. Zapper was well protected and the cleaning tray is a great feature.

I use this in a small room. It's been great for keeping bugs away from my ferrets. Makes a small noise when it zaps the buggies making me chuckle a bit knowing there was a light at the end of their tunnel as they perished! Definitely recommend as a pet owner in a small apartment

I like that this product easily portable. Indoor fruitflies and flies weren't attracted to it, so I moved it outside. It killed a zillion bugs outside and in the garage. Easy empty bottom tray.

It worked. Reduces flies almost immediately. But both my units died and are not working. they lasted only 4 months

Like it a lot. Works as advertised, good at removing flies outdoors.

After I used the Hoont, there are no bugs any more. I love it!
