Loved the song so had to get this book. It is a hope filled, uplifting devotional for each day.What a wise, in tune with the Spirit author.

When I first heard the song Blessings by Laura Story several years ago, I decided to order the book, and I was definitely not disappointed. Each chapter is a short mediation on an unexpected blessing. It is a book to be savored. It is perfect for a personal meditation time or it can be used with a group. I have given this book to several different people as a gift, and it has really helped them with things they have been struggling with. After reading the book, the song has even great meaning.

If you are going through things in life and cant talk to others. Then here is a book that will help you through things in life.

I fell in love with the song, which enticed me to order 2 of Laura's CDs... then 3 of the book! It is wonderful, made me take a different look at blessings that don't always come in sunny days and rainbows, and how we can turn what seemed like adversity into blessing others. Thank you so much, Laura Story. My only problem is I ordered 3, 2 for friends and 1 for me... and I've given them all away... I just can't help from sharing this wonderful book and the song too!

I have used many, many devotionals over the years, but have never been as happy as I was reading this one. Laura Story is one of my favorite Christian musicians and her song "Blessings" is just phenominal. What I like most about this book, other than God's Word, is how she writes in a way that makes it seem like your friend is just sittin there talking with you. It's very easy to read and really makes you think differently about trials in your life. I highly recommend it.

Good read. Helps us keep things in perspective and remember those toughest moments can be the most important in our lives and give us the most growth and wisdom. Hard times absolutely, but times that can also be used later in our lives in a positive way.

A MUST-READ! Laura holds nothing back.... her road has not been easy and to know that she so willingly shares of her struggles in an effort to help others is wonderful. Take time and read her writings.

So far, I love it. My Mother didn't do the daily devotional type thing, she read the entire book in one sitting and has already read it over again several times. Very good book.

I bought this after hearing the song of the same title, and I love it. It is not heavy going, it is gentle, BUT it makes you think, look at who, where you are and your life. Even if you have no Christian 'leanings', there is something in here for anyone. You can't change what's going on around you, until you start to change what's going on in you. Give it a try. You will be surprised.

At the time of purchase I was going through a real storm. What a well written book. Knowing it was written by someone who was going through a real storm herself. It has brought a lot of comfort to me and made me realise that God does indeed bring us Blessings through raindrops and storms of life. One of the quotes from the book "Only God can change the valley of despair into a door of hope". Thanks you so much Laura for putting pen to paper when you were going through a difficult time.

Lovely little book, in bite size chapters. Things you probably already know but good to read to help you be more grateful, count your blessings, be more content. Well worth buying.

Help for the darkest days, inspiration and encouragement when you need it most from someone who truly understands the battle

I bought this book expecting to read Laura's testimony but found that it is actually daily devotions. I have not had opportunity to read them but at a glance it looks ok.
