Used for a planted aquarium. The whole set up came in right at 200 dollars, buying everything off amazon. It was harder to find someone to fill this for me than I expected. Most places only exchange tanks and dicks sporting goods couldn’t fill anything over 16oz. Eventually I found a little shop that did fire extinguishers and dry ice and that sorta thing and they filled it for 12 dollars.The product is as described. The only advice I can give is to call around ahead of time and find someone who will refill instead of just exchanging.

I was not sure of the size when I bought this. It is larger than I thought, but that is fine. I use it in my kegerator for draft beer. I needed a spare tank as I seem to run out of CO2 when my keg is half full. Still fits in the kegerator pretty good and works as described.

Tank looked good. Unfortunately my welding shop only fills one day a week and there's a wait, so I always just do a swap. Be prepared to say goodbye to your new shiny tank. I'd still rather own a tank than pay the absurd deposit on a rental.

I believe most people purchase these for kegerators, and maybe as part of home brew kits but I recently converted a 22 gallon freshwater aquarium from a traditional aquarium (fake plants, gravel, etc.) to a planted tank which means live, underwater plants, grass and moss. This tank along with a CO2 regulator fits perfectly in my cabinet and gives me the ability to deliver the right amount of CO2 to keep my plants fed! I actually saw the same CO2 tank at a local home brew store for a much higher price (also without the CO2). Very happy with purchase.
