14- Diamond-6L Diamond Crystal Structure, 6 Layer (Pack of 231)

Very nice, used it to build a fullerene, specifically a buckyball, which requires 60 carbon atoms. The parts in this set are the same asthe 16 carbon tetrahedral in the Molecular Models 214 Piece Organic Set, since this set was intended to be used to build a diamond crystal, they are not trigonal bipyramidal carbons, the bonds were flexible enough we were able to build the buckyball after some trial and errors. Have not tried to build a nanotube yet, so cannot tell you how that went. Definitely a lot of fun if you want to inspire someone to someday invent the material process for a tether for a space elevator.
