Has become my “Go To” carry on. Very versatile and well made. Plenty of exterior pockets for quick access. Easily switches from backpack to rolling. Great handles for quick grab and go situations. Its now been to Ireland and Portugal with me. I use it with and without trips requiring laptop. Very good quality and capable of handling abuse. Highly recommend.

I have not yet traveled with this, but I've filled it with my various electronics and sample 4-day clothing/toiletries and it's just really satisfying, feels like great overall quality and durability, as well as being very versatile. This is replacing a (very nice) High Sierra rolling backpack that I've enjoyed over the years, but that High Sierra has some limitations (as far as design--curved across the top--which does look more like a "regular" backpack, but limits capacity) and I needed a bit more space, as well as better solutions for outside-the-pack accessories. A few notes: see my closeup of the place where the top of the backpack meets the bottom: there's a hook-loop gusset that can be peeled back to allow for fully-opened lid, which is nice. Overall, these "tactical" systems are really great for their exterior hook/loop options, and I have two different accessories attached (one is for a water bottle/phone, one for travel docs) and the whole thing works very well. I think this will be my solution for several years to come. The backpack straps tuck away nicely and are comfortable (I use a cross-strap in this configuration) with a pretty full backpack. The telescoping handle is surprisingly solid, compared to the High Sierra. I'll revisit the review after a couple of trips, just so there's some more real-world testing for what--for now--seems like a great value for the money, and a super versatile, low-weight backpack or carryon option.

Ok, so I have taken this on at least 3 flights, and I'm happy to report it's a great little bag! I definitely get several side-eyes from flight attendants and have been questioned about whether or not it'll fit underneath the seats and even with the pockets on the front full of snacks and goodies, it slides right under with no problem! The one thing I'll mention however is if you are putting it in the Frontier Airlines test stand at the gate, if you have pretty much anything in the front pockets it might not fit. Definitely a cool alternative to the rigid bags that require the wheels to be popped off all the time. The Velcro area for patches is an awesome touch and really adds some personality to the bag!

This is a pretty durable bag and I use it constantly for travel. My only issue with it is the plastic clips on the side that I have to constantly snap and unsnap to get into the bag and close it. It would be great if it had additional pockets inside aside from the laptop sleeve.

Hands down the best piece of travel luggage I’ve ever used. Compact but spacious and a smart design to fit everything I need securely and accessibly. Love that the straps can tuck in but still be exposed for grabbing on the go, AND you can still roll it with the back pack straps being accessible. Took it with me on travels across India, on several planes cross the world, didn’t have any problems fitting it in any space on my flights or busses. And it was still big and sturdy enough to stack my other bags on it for easy rolling. Love love love it!

It's on the small side but it has many pockets and worked out great for a flight and long weekend. Lightweight, easy to carry. Sved me money because I was able to use as a personal item. (Not carryon)

I have been taking this pack all across Europe. It is just the right size to fit even in smaller planes, has enough storage for a short trip, and rolls very effortlessly.

Seems quite well made and has good utility. Compact size should be suitable as carry-on personal item even on budget airlines.
