Jaipur Avenue Chai Tea Mix Lemongrass (15-Count Box)

I have been a tea connoisseur for a while now...and I've always loved how different spices can lend their own unique identities when added to Chai. While mint, cardamom and cloves are all quite excellent, there has never been anything as refreshing and invigorating as lemongrass tea. I'd been making and savoring tea made from fresh lemongrass and tea-powder in the traditional way for a long time before i came across the Jaipur Avenue Chai mix. It goes a long way to say that they are the only brand that i know of that has been able to get the perfect balance of sweet, spice, and cream in one little packet....and managed to capture the essence of fresh brewed tea as close to the real thing as possible.I absolutely **LOVE** this tea mix, and I would all but abandon making fresh tea completely if they started selling the tea mix in bulk. I can absolutely swear by its taste!!! This is especially hard for me to state, since I had never expected any pre-packaged tea mix to ever match up to my expectations!!!A huge applause to Jaipur Avenue for getting it right! The only reason i'll take one star away from an otherwise dazzling review is for not having an option for bulk purchase.

I am a total chai addict; ideally I crush the spices, boil the milk and make my own, but I travel a lot and never want to give up my afternoon chai ritual, so I always carry some instant packets with me. I have tried all the different pre packaged mixes on the market. My tastebuds like it rich, creamy, spicy and not too sweet. I really like several of the Jaipur versions...yes in general they are sweeter than I would make myself, but not as terrible as a lot of them I've tried (ie: Oregon chai brand). This one is very unique, hard to describe, but somehow very refreshing; never tasted anything like it. At first when I read the description I thought there was no way it could be good, why would I want lemongrass in my chai??? But my curiosity was overwhelming and I just had to see for myself. I am SO glad I did...maybe not the flavor I would reach for every single day, but I'm really glad I tried it and now I crave it as a special treat.

Like the other reviewer, I had no idea what to expect when I bought this. I am in **love** with Jaipur Avenue's Cardamom chai, and **every single variety** was sold out on Amazon except Lemongrass. And there were no reviews! I didn't want to drop 10 bucks on something that might not be drinkable. But... I was desperate.I made my first cup. I use half water and half milk so it's extra creamy (but all water is totally fine). First sip... WOW! Totally refreshing! It's spicy and delish like cardamom, but more bright and invigorating! I made myself a cup on Christmas Day when I had family over, had been baking all day and was hitting a wall. The Lemongrass chai infused my attitude with cheer and got me through the day. Now I have two favorites to rotate between. Big thumbs up!

This tea is the best tea I've ever tried, and believe me I've tried a lot of tea! You won't regret it, it's refreshing and very relaxing.

I decided to write this review after having tried 4 different brands. This brand and especially this flavor is the best one I have tasted so far. Mainly the amount of milk powder and strongness of the tea is in perfect balance. Having years of chai making experience at home I am really picky on the taste and the balance of ingredients. I would rate this brand of instant chai as #1 followed but the "Guru" brand and at #3 would be the "Girnar" brand.

Very good quality taste for an instant tea product and tastes like the real thing, however, I wish I had known that it only comes with Sugar in it as I would prefer to use my own high quality organic brown sugar or other natural sweetener that I prefer to use.While I like it I would not buy again unless I could get it without sugar.If you don't care then this is a great product.

Hands down the best chai I've ever had.

Absolutely the best chai ever!! Love all the Jaipur chai flavors (except vanilla, which isn't terrible but not spicy and too sweet) but this is by far my favorite. I was wary of how a citrus flavor would mix with chai but the lemongrass is delicious and spicy and refreshing. Absolutely love it.
