Pineapple&Star Sun Straw Fedora Beach Hat Fine Braid UPF50+ for Women

I've ordered two colors of this Pineapple and Star hat. Their quality is superb: Materials, workmanship, packaging, it’s all reflective of a much more expensive product. Fit is exactly right. I have a 21" head and small is perfect. Built into the hat is a drawstring for minor size adjustments, which I like because I can easily change it according to whether my hair is pinned up or loose. Also included is a packet containing soft Velcro pads for making more substantial sizing changes. I do not need these, but I really appreciated the fact that the company included them. There is also an included chinstrap, although I found the instructions for how to attach it somewhat lacking and judging by the other reviews, others have too so I would advise the company to give more explicit instructions to prevent unnecessary returns or unfairly low reviews. I haven't tried to attach the strap since reading some other reviews that show how there are two (very hard to find!) gaps in stitching that holds the inner band to the hat itself, but I trust they are there and if and when I want to use the chin strap, I have it. A nice extra. The enclosed packet also included two little metal decorative pins - one is a pineapple, the other is a star - should you want to adorn the hat further. Of the two Amari hats I ordered, the off-white w/black band ($35) came well protected in a cardboard support box. The ivory w/navy band ($50) came protected in a custom, zippered clear plastic hat case and arrived in perfect condition. Despite the price difference, the two hats are identical other than the bands and the plastic zip case. Ultimately, I returned the navy banded one, but only because I hadn’t noticed in the photographs that their company name is printed on the outside of the hat band, and that the hat band was not solid navy blue, but navy blue with a pure white stripe above it. I see now they also mention this in the longer description, which I didn't read because I already had the black one and knew I loved it. These design details were not to my personal taste, however, they certainly did not reflect on the quality of the hat, and might be something others like. I just don’t like to wear any brand names on the outside of my clothing. I wish the company offered a plain navy blue band with no writing and no additional stripe, like the one with the solid, plain black band. I also would like to add that the navy-banded hat is described as ivory and their identical model (Amari) hat with the black band is described as off-white, but in person, the two colors of straw are identical. I hope this company succeeds because it’s refreshing to see such a well-made product for such an affordable price. I won’t hesitate to buy from them again.

Love this hat!! Got size S for me. Yes, WITHOUT ADJUSTMENT it’s big. But thanks for the instruction - how to adjust size, how to travel either it (packing), how to put lace if needed - I fixed my size. Wanted to get dif color, but on that time was only blue available. No regrets!!! Thinking about one more. Beautiful navy blue, great quality, recommend it

Love the hat. Very beautiful and the ability to adjust its tightness is a huge plus. I have a small head, so it’s a nightmare finding hats that actually fit me. I do wish it would have been packaged the same way as it is shown in the advertised photos. It would have been nice to have it for storage purposes and made me feel better, with regard to delivery protection. One of the shipping box’s corners was squished. Fortunately the hat wasn’t damaged

Good quality and fits well. I like that the back is adjustable if I want to make it tighter a bit. The delivery did not come in a hat box though like in others pix. Well it’s ok for me as the hat was not damaged during delivery.

A good-looking hat at the right price. I was looking for a new summer hat with a bit of dash and this is it. It's lightweight and easily adjustable for the perfect fit. They include some metal pins for decoration, but do not explain how to safely fasten them without damaging the hat, so I will leave those alone. Also, they include some foam inserts that I assume are for helping with the fit, but again, there is no explanation on how to use them. Note that the Ivory color is a cream white that looks great with the blue band.

I love the look of this hat. Size-wise, I was right in between a medium and a large. Ordered the medium and it was too tight. Returned and got the large. The large fits great. I like that it has a strap you can attach if you want on a windy day. And there is an internal thing in the band of the hat that let you make it a little tighter. Unfortunately… This hat arrived with several imperfections. Since I ordered the $42 one instead of the $29 one, I would’ve expected it to be in better condition.

When I measured, I fell into the medium category (22); however, the color I wanted was only available in large, so I took a chance. I’m so glad I went for it. I adjusted the built-in strap inside, and it fits perfectly. It’s amazing quality, and the fact that they send you instructions on how to pack the hat was so helpful. Also, a lot of hats like these look silly because they’re “too tall;” however, this is perfectly proportioned and not goofy looking. In love!

When the hat was delivered the plastic cover was crushed, this is not the quality I expected when reading pineapple & start delivery policy, should have come in a box to stop damage, due to being crushed the small pineapple motive came away from the hat, The quality of the has is very good and well manufactured, great looking style and looks good on, would definitely buy this product again.
