I'm so glad this was available at a great price. My original battery started to fail (after only 6 years : ) and I figured I'd replace the charging port AND battery for less than the cost of professional battery replacement. The trouble is, this port has wraparound capacitive buttons that need screen removal, which involves several extra steps. I studied online repair videos carefully, but destroyed my still functional screen (and tore its delicate ribbon cable right off) ... so the repair was delayed a few days for the new screen's delivery.I would have liked some basic tips/instructions for port replacement, and am still not sure I removed tiny plastic covers correctly (to expose adhesive). I eventually realized I had to pry out the old capacitive buttons. In any case, the buttons now light up and function just fine. The charge port works and holds the cable FIRMLY (the previous port ejected cables at every chance). I can't get "fast charge" confirmation -- maybe because the battery replacement isn't a Samsung brand. It takes 2-3 hours for a full charge, but it WORKS and the new battery holds a charge again. I tend to use BT headphones because the original headphone jack failed early on. That works again, too. : )

Be really careful the screen lower buttons are light by this board and it’s not easy to install and not mess up the black over lay coating the light panels are adheared to on the screen glass with out ripping the black color coating off the screen glass at your install this unit. Every thing still works just not the best look now on the lower buttons

I would suggest taking your phone to someone who has experience installing. Most have you sign a waver if replacement fails. I bought a new phone!

Replacement for a wobbly blown out Samsung Galaxy S6 charging port. Did this and the battery at the same time.Comes with tools, you will need a heat gun and patience to get the back glass off and get the phone apart.Overall, performs just like the factory parts... in fact a lot of the markings are identical when put together side by side.BE PATIENT WHEN DISASSEMBLING AND REASSEMBLING YOUR PHONE.

Before attempting to work on your phone make sure you have the ability. It can turn bad very easy and become way more expensive.
