Well-Built KVM That Just Works
This KVM switch has been a fantastic addition to my workspace, offering seamless switching between my gaming PC and my work laptop with minimal delay. The setup was effortless—truly a plug-and-play experience that took just a few minutes. The compact design, LED indicator, and push-button switching make it easy to operate, and the inclusion of EDID support ensures my display settings remain consistent when toggling between computers.I can't stress enough how it's streamlined my workflow of switching from work to play (or visa versa), allowing me to share a monitor, keyboard, and mouse between my devices without the hassle of undocking, redocking or switching cables. It's also helped with cable management, which is a struggle for me. The switching speed is impressive, maintaining display resolution without disruptions.Might just be me, but I feel the user manual lacks clarity on when additional power via the USB port is necessary, however, my laptop has functioned well without it, desktop needed it. It’s well-built, stays cool during operation, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Overall, this KVM switch has been a game-changer for my setup, making multitasking much more convenient.

Very simple to connect and use KVM.
Pros: Supports HDMI 2.0 wonderful! very simple to use, just connect everything and push the button when you want to switch computers (I use it so I can flip between my ham radio pc and my laptop) works very nice on HDMI and no special drivers needed - it just works. Great for keeping the clutter down if you want to run two different computers on your desk or if you want to easily switch from a streaming video player and your normal computer. Works with all OS's as it is a hardware solution, it is invisible for the most part. Note: before you switch computers, always make sure you "safely remove the USB storage" before you switch screens or you could corrupt files as the OS has no way to know what happened. If you dont like to do this, only use direct ports on the pc you want to use the usb storage on...don't put it on the kvm.Cons: none so far. I will use it further and post an update if I run into anything.

Exactly what we needed and works great. Economical option to meet a need and solve a problem.
My son has a gaming console hooked up to a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. He asked me for a second hdmi cable and I asked him why. He finally showed me what he was doing trying to switch from his gaming console to his PC. He was manually unplugging the mouse, the keyboard, and switching the inputs on his monitor.NO MORE! This did the trick. HDMI to each device. Single USB to each device. Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor to this KVM and now he switches with a single push of a button. Very happy with the simplicity, the functionality, ease of use, and it takes up no room on his desk. Switching is really fast and reliable. Great option for the price, you won't be disappointed.

Works nice on linux laptop and windows desktop
Using this on a Vector laptop with linux and MSI gaming computer, both running to a 4k TV and keyboard and mouse. I tested a couple similar KVM at the same time. This model wound up appearing exactly the same as another brand on here. I mention this due to price. Shop around if you're considering this one as there may be a cheaper listing of the same one with a different name on it.It works as expected. No issues. It claims 4k@60hz and that's what I tend to run, even if a device can support more. I've been using some USB hubs and at times, even some external storage. Just be sure to safely eject the storage if you do this! The KVM will not handle that action for you. If you use any external storage and do not "Safe Eject" or "Eject" (Windows/Mac) or "sync/umount" (linux and alike), you may lose data when switching! It's been working great with a tb4 dongle in a hub that works for both a keyboard and mouse. All around, everything's working fine.

Works gret to switch between gaming and media PC
Super easy to set up and was basically plug and play - it took longer to rearrange the desk and get rid of the extra monitor and peripherals than it did to get it functioning. I picked this up control my Plex media server pc without having to have the extra monitor and accessories on the desktop, and it's been perfect. Literally just a button press to switch over and manage the media library and networking.Switching between computers has had no impact on the display resolution or settings, and it's been so seamless it's almost frustrating that I didn't do it earlier. I like to use an eco-friendly mini-pc for plex, instead of my power hungry gaming computer, but it's always been frustrating having to manually change display inputs each time. Or, like I've been doing recently, just using it's own old monitor and keyboard. This allowed me to clear up a lot of desk space. Not sure how it'd work for other applications, but it's been great for mine! It's well-built, doesn't get hot or anything, and just works. Good product.

Compact design, all metal case & EDID support
What I like:Compact! it's thin, ~18mm tall.LED indicator for which PC input is activeSwitching via the button on the KVM or a remotely wired push buttonIt is uncommon to find a KVM that supports EDID in this price range. The switching speed is good, and with EDID my displays don't get all misordered every time I switch back and forth. The user manual does not give guidance on when the KVM requires separate power via the micro-usb port - it seems to work without the external power cable (being powered by the PC's USB port directly.
