MARATHONCurved Display LED Clock with Dual Alarm and USB Charging Port

I bought this clock, because my cable company upgraded their boxes and part of the "upgrade" was to remove the clocks off the front of them. I have a clock on my night stand, but it was very aggravating, because if I had to get up or go to bed soon, I found myself constantly glancing over at the bedside clock. I'm a little OCD. I was used to simply shifting my eyes slightly and checking the digital clock.I bought this clock, because I think red is one of the least obtrusive colors and it's was specifically billed as being dimmable. I got it out of the box and setup with no issues. I like that it includes an internal battery, because we have a lot of "power outages" that last a few seconds. Just long enough to knock all the clocks out.There is a physical button you push to set the display to bright, dim, or off. I set it to dim. I could honestly stand for it to be a shade or two dimmer, but as I knew would happen, I got used to it and don't notice it anymore. I don't have issues sleeping with it on, and I prefer pitch dark sleeping.The display also looks huge. I'd recommend this for the price, the size of the display, and the dimming feature. If it bothers you, you can also just tap a button and set the display to off.

Easy to set. Easy to read the numbers. Love the USB connection for my phone. Love the curved screen- gives it a modern look.

Love the style and easy to read

I bought this alarm clock because the Timex alarm clock that I bought about a year ago would not go off every morning. I would set both alarms, and on several occasions, it did not work. I started setting the alarm on my phone as a backup, but what is the point of having an alarm clock if it doesn't work? I've been looking for a new one, and read the reviews on this one, and thought I'd give it a try. So far so good, it has gone off every morning that I have set it, without exception. It's easy to set, is smaller than my previous one, but it's not tiny, and has a snooze alarm button too. If you're looking for a really good basic alarm clock, you won't be disappointed with this one.

I'm very sorry to criticize this clock, since it comes from Marathon, which makes highly regarded wristwatches in Switzerland. Their dive watches are among the best. That said, clearly Marathon outsourced this little digital clock to some third-world place and adhered their highly regarded name on a poor product. The issue: It keeps gaining time ... 2, 3, 4 minutes a month. Unacceptable. Marathon, please up your game and stop outsourcing your non-watch products to crappy suppliers!

easy to set up, easy to see. dim setting good in the evening., doesn't detract from tv. we are using to replace clock on cable box as we've "cut the cord".

Nice looking, easy to read clock. I don't use the alarm so I can't speak to those features.

I highly recommend this clock.This was exactly what we were looking for to replace our prior clock radio that died awhile ago. This clock has 3 brightness options Off, low and high. We keep it on the low setting 24/7 with no need to change it during the day or night. We can see it just fine at this setting very well and works perfect for us. The high setting was a bit to bright for us. Keep in mind everyone is different.The USB charging port on the right side of the unit is awesome. I no longer need to use a separate cell phone charger wall plug.Haven't had the need to use the alarm clock, has two separate alarms settings if needed, played with it and it was fine, beep sound etc.

This is the second one I have ordered in past couple years. Fist one still keeps accurate time. Daughter has one on her desk and I ordered one for mine. Clear numbers/display. Display can be dimmed or turned completely off if needed. Nice size.

I have OCD when it comes to clock requirements (and their effect on my sleep). Thus:1) Numbers need to be large and clear. I avoid EMF's - and bedside LED clocks are notoriously bad emitters (this one no exception). Therefore any electronic devices live exclusively on the other side of my 12' bedroom. However, the 2" tall numbers are still quite easy to read (and I'm nearsighted).2) LED color has to be red. So many clocks use white, blue, green, yellow or multi-color capable displays. But most people don't realize that all these other LED color options are known to have negative effects on sound slumber, even from just a quick glance during the night. Red does not.3) It should be dimmable. Most clocks don't dim enough at night for my taste. This display offers a single dim, bright and off setting (quick, one button control), but could use another dim level or two. It's my only small quip, but probably just me. So I simply just added a layer of tinted vinyl to make it dark enough.4) It features a battery backup. This means never having to reset the time whenever you unplug, move or reset it after power bumps. This clock uses a common CR2032 battery (included - and not active until you pull the plastic tab) and it works flawlessly5) It should be as compact as possible. This gives you more choice over its location, plus makes it easier to pack when I need to. Love it. Even the power adapter is small6) It should last. I've gone through so many cheap clocks that barely make it a year... so much crap out there. Yet my first one of these gems (I own three now) is still going strong after 4 years.7) Setting the time should be intuitive. Some clocks are so convoluted, you forever need to refer to the manual, cause you can't remember the steps from the last time you did this... a year ago. D'oh! Good luck finding it now. This one though is dead simple, no manual required.8) A fair price. Yes, ok - this clock initially seems a bit on the pricey side, I admit. But I eventually realized that small, high quality clocks are really hard to come by - so the "value" is definitely there.FYI - I don't use any of the other features: ie. USB charging, alarm, snooze etc. so I can't comment on them.

I would buy again.

It's a good basic alarm clock with two user alarm settings and large bright numbers. However, the alarm chime, even on HI, is still not loud enough for me to hear it in the hall outside of the bedroom.I would still by it again.
