The last two bottles of this I've purchased have been in plastic bottles instead of glass and smells different. Has the product changed?

We will eventually only be packaging this product in plastic bottles, but we do still have some glass bottles that may have been sent to you. The product has a 3-5 year shelf life, even after being opened, and you can see the expiration date on the base of the bottle at the bottom.

It is quite normal for holistic, herbal tinctures to vary in smell, taste, texture, color and consistency. Because our ingredients are wild harvested, and not grown in a controlled lab, this all depends on the time of year and the temperature that the ingredients were harvested at. That said, every batch is tested for consistency, potency and quality.

All of our formulas are manufactured in a facility that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices. The full biochemical spectrum of the herbs is preserved  to ensure the potency of the extract.  All raw materials are tested for identification and purity. Our manufacturing facility is FDA-registered. Strict quality control procedures are meticulously monitored.

I can assure you that the bottle you received is safe for your pet, as we don't do random testing, and every batch goes through three different third party testing facilities before the bottles are ready to be shipped to our customers.

Is Life Gold only suppose to be used once or twice per year as your overview mentions in the summary/or can it be used all year?

Life Gold can be used as a general detox in healthy pets, in which case, we recommend giving it once or twice a year. However, if you're using the product as a support for animals who are dealing with cancer, then we recommend using it continually. We hope that makes sense!

I am sorry to hear about the diagnosis and will be happy to help.

For pets with cancer, we would generally recommend Mushroom Immune Gold and Life Gold. Mushroom Immune Gold helps to target cancer cells to help mitigate the progression of the condition as well as slow the growth of tumors, while Life Gold supports your pet in terms of the associated symptoms of cancer, such as poor appetite, low energy or depression, and elimination challenges; they do work best when used in tandem, though they may be used independently, as well.

Please keep in mind that both these treatments cannot be used along with immune suppressing drugs such as steroids and many chemo therapies.

I recommend for a larger dog of 100lbs do get the larger 4oz size of Life Gold as it will last you longer.
