The Art of Mulan Hardcover – June 19, 1998

I bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend who loves Mulan. I highly recommend “The Art Of..” books to anyone who loves Disney movies and as a gift for one who wants to give a beautiful and interesting story. So cool to see the behind the scenes drawings and story board for these amazing productions

Beautiful book with no major faults or blemishes! Glad I get to own this book now!

Instead of Buying the Bluray of the 2020 remake, i bought this and the Bluray from the 1998.It was totally worth it, it's just amazing art all around on every corner. And making the book giant is a wonderful way to see the little details of every piece.

The Art of Mulan is an interesting art of book. When I finally got this book in the mail I was quite surprised to see how large it is. And considering this is the smaller version! There's an oversized version as well.But yes, this book as ALOT of text. But I loved reading all of it. It's written with amazing detail, and you hear from so many talented people who worked on the film.My only complaint with this book was how many screencaps or production stills from the film appear. Way to many! And the worse part is that some of them take up a full page! I saw online the Making of Mulan, and they showed many beautiful concept art images of Mulan. That I wished were in this book, instead of those screencaps. Like another reviewer said there's not a lot of concept art, most of the art you see is close to, or what you already see in the final film. You don't see much of the earlier versions.Overall I quite enjoyed this book, I waited a long time to buy this one. Since most of the time it was really overpriced, but I finally found one that was priced reasonably. For some reason alot of sellers are pricing it from fifty dollars, to more than a hundred, which is crazy. Personally I do NOT think this art of book is worth more than $25, which is usually what most art of books cost.

This book is STUNNING! It goes in depth into the inspirations and processes that went into the film without getting dull or “text-book-like”.I’m a huge fan of this movie and so this book has been such a great addition to my collection! Get your hands on this now!
