Update: We are now a family of 4 and use these daily. I'm buying my third set now. We are still a paper free kitchen and I use these for everything!Original: I. Love. These. I had enough with buying paper disposable napkins in my house as we were going through so many and I was just throwing money away (and my toddler was eating them)...I decided to give these a try as an affordable, bleachable, replacement for paper napkins. That said, they are awesome for every day, not fancy use. Some of the reviews gripe about the thinness of them, or the fact that they wrinkle from the dryer, and those comments are partly true. They are fairly thin, but not so thin that I can't use just ONE per meal for my messy toddler son. Sometimes I even reuse the same napkin for him all day! They are quite large, and unless he makes a huge mess, one of these babies lasts quite a while keeping him and his dining space pretty clean. They are thin enough to feel comfortable and manageable in your hands (not slippery, very absorbent) and not cumbersome. And the extra laundry is nothing. I throw them in with my laundry and they wash nicely.

Let me start with saying this. I have read the other reviews about these napkins, and the number of people that are complaining about the wrinkles. These are 100% cotton, and they will wrinkle. So if you have a problem with pulling out an iron and ironing, these are not for you. I understand we are all use to having some other material mixed with cotton that prevents cotton from wrinkling in our clothes.I bought a total of 4 packages for a weeding brunch and cocktail party. I can't be any more happier than I am. It's the little accents that make a party over the top. These napkins will hold starch and will hold a nice sharp crease. They are at a very good price for the quality. I received many compliments from the guest at both parties. Had a grandmother come to me and ask where I bought them from. She said " I have not seen a party given in this high style in many years.". It took her back to the days of when she was given a bridal shower. When people of society gave parties and they used all their fine serving pieces. A party was not given using disposable items. She is 89 years old. She could tell I was brought up with "Old School" southern manners. I don't have a problem with ironing, I find it very relaxing. My 93 year old granny taught me how to iron and how to get things to hold a razer sharp edge when ironing. I am in my early 40's. It's all about how persnickety you want to be with your parties. I would rather have them talking about the small things then how there was no food at the party.

These worked great for a Friendsgiving group of 16 people (I ordered 2)! I wanted something inexpensive and easily washed. The seams aren't even on all of them, but I was ok with that because I was looking for inexpensive. I don't think our friends even noticed or cared about the flaws in the napkins. I will say, they got very wrinkled in the wash so I had to iron each one before folding and using, which was a little time consuming.

I'm a napkin nut and have only used fabric napkins the past 10 years, so I know a thing or two about them. I remember seeing a review here about the "premium" fabric being thin, but it is NOT the case. The weight of this fabric is rich and heavy and well worth the extra $, however I didn't purchase the classic weight so I can't compare. All cotton napkins need to be ironed, since cotton is wrinkly, otherwise it's best to purchase a cotton/poly blend. The reason why I purchase all cotton white napkins is that they can be bleached after every use to maintain the crisp white color, while cotton/polyester will yellow with bleach. Since I iron them, it matters that they are square, and these are perfectly square after washing - which is not the case with other napkin companies. I've probably spent too much time on this review, but it can be frustrating weeding through all of the Amazon offerings! I highly recommend these for every day use.

Good quality, great price

Like these a lot except they need to be ironed after washing. They wash up nice. Had a napkins that was really soiled with bbq sauce and never thought it would come clean but it did. Simple white cotton napkins.

These are GREAT napkins. I used them to apply an HTV design for my Thanksgiving table and it came out pretty awesome. I have since washed them and they held up fine in the washer. I also dried them (on medium heat) and I didn't notice any shrinkage. I then ironed them and they look pretty as if they were still brand new. They are a thinner material so folding them into shapes is not going to happen. I'm a practical person when it comes to table decor and these made my table look amazing. Worth the money.

During the pandemic, being home so much, we were really flying through the napkins and paper towels. I got this pack of napkins to reduce our waste. I think they’re great! I don’t try to get out stains. I just throw them in the wash and I use my hippie detergent that doesn’t clean like Tide. We have designated napkins for enchiladas night because those stains are for life. The napkins are soft, absorbent and now I prefer them over the paper. I keep them in tan basket by the sink and the black basket is for the dirty ones. The only wrinkle along the edges. They’d be easy to iron if you need that. I recommend them to my friends.
