【2018 New Version】 HiFi Sound Waterproof MP3 Player for Swimming and Running,Underwater Headphones with Short Cord(3 Types Earbuds), Shuffle Feature

This is a good basic mp3 player with sequential and random options. When you go underwater, the audio will get quieter unless you pressurize your ears completely. The sound will also degrade if you get water in your ear canals or the ear tip flange so choose the right size and seat the buds completely.This is the only waterproof mp3 player I have found with a fast forward (not just skip) option, which is important because I listen to a lot of audio books with really big files. The fast forward is a really slowish fast forward but much better than nothing. Also important for audio book listening is the ability to play from a folder instead of only from the root directory. The included manual and seller do not recommend this but it seems to work.These devices do not connect properly with my USB 3.0 hub but work fine with built-in USB 2.0 jacks. I returned a device because of this problem and bought 2 more before I figured that out. The seller was trying to help with lots of suggestions but didn't know that limitation. However, the seller did allow me to keep one of the players despite refunding my purchase price due to all the difficulties I was having. Excellent customer service.**Updated for 2018 New Version**The sound quality of the new version is improved. This will not be noticeable while swimming due to the degradation of the sound underwater but using a decent pair of Shure earbuds and a set of Sennheiser around-ear headphones, it is obvious the new version has better clarity and separation while maintaining a decent bass response. The included headphones seems similar and are adequate for underwater use. If you want to enjoy the improved sound, use better earbuds when you can.Because these a pretty inexpensive and don't have a screen for moving through files, I have devices for different activities - so audio books on one, up tempo on another, down tempo on a third.Even using a USB 2.0 jack, some players still have problems staying connected to the computer for copying large amounts of data at once. Sometimes copying fewer files works and trying copy and paste instead of drag and drop. Some individual devices just seem better than others.

I absolutely loved this when I first got it. No issues, the sound wasn't great but was decent for the price. But now, after just a few weeks of use, it will not play, charge or do anything. Dead as a doornail :( I was careful to never charge it or unplug anything while it was wet and used it about 1hr a night 4-5x a week. Cheap and won't last

Edit: serves me right. the day I wrote the positive review it stopped working. it seems to still "work" but won't connect to the computer or identify the earphones. something must be wrong with the socket.I've been using this in the pool for a month now to listen to podcasts. It saves your spot on the track which is good if you're not just shuffling music. The sound is pretty good underwater, too. Will def recommend for the price

I don't know how to express this feeling, this was not what I expected. I was thinking it would be quite small, but this is not small at all, it's big and you definitely will feel it when under water.I purchased this one to use it on daily basis, but I'm afraid that I can't do it anymore, already half of the holder plug is broke and not really sure how to use the remaining for a firm hold and then dive inside the water. I personally like the plugs, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to fit for everyone, it will be a little big for most of them, as the plugs are designed in that way.I don’t know if they are really waterproof, just to test it I put them in a glass of water, it was working fine, but not really sure if it will last longer. I will try to give you the update maybe after a few swims just to see how it goes. This is definitely a new initiative to use the earphones underwater (at least up to my knowledge), but the connecting 3.5mm jack is not that close and doesn't seem like it's waterproof, you can visually see there is a gap.Overall I'm not very much satisfied with the product, but it's okay for the price.

The player itself is nice. Built solid and easy to operate. Once charged, it plays for a long time. However, the earphones that come with it are not that great. Makes the music sound "canny" (pretty crappy sound). You'll need to buy other waterproof earphones with better quality sound. Otherwise, a good buy.

The mp3 stopped working in the water - it looked dead. We tried to dry it and recharge it, and it wasnt reacting at all, as if completely dead. Then the light came back on, and the blinking light disapeared and it turned itself back off. I contacted the seller who was very professional and they offered immediately a replacement. They gave advice how to dry and try to connect it again - we had already tried that. Maybe water got somewhere to some contacts becasue it seems now it reacts on and off without being touched. 5 stars for the seller though. I ordered the blue one, maybe the blue series has issues - next is going to be the black one before i give up. Will definitely purchase from this seller again, they respond very quickly and they guarantee replacement for their products.

I'm having alot of trouble getting this to work with my OS. Instructions says that it works on PC and Mac but .. we'll see. My computer is not connecting to it for any amount of time, keeps dropping the connection. Instructions are a bit difficult to follow, and the model has fewer features than I thought it would. Not sure if I was sent a dud.EDIT: Cannot get player to connect to computer long enough to transfer files over. Returning product for refund. What a waste.

Works fine. Does not sort files correctly alphabetically, so I have had to creatively name files to get it to play audio books in the right order... I use for swimming. Zero issues other than play order.
