I received my order quickly and the bare root plants were healthy, and there were a few extra, which was unexpected but really nice! I placed them in the refrigerator while gathering supplies and planted them that weekend according to website instructions and the YouTube video. Our plants are doing great, lots of growth and very healthy. We will be transplanting them outdoors this weekend. Will be buying more in the future. Very, very please with my purchase. Thank you!

I’m starting a strawberry garden and hope these produce runners. I’m currently establishing their root system—yet they are blooming readily. I have not tasted the berry yet.

I received 13 plants and followed the extensive directions. I lost about 1/3 of them within two weeks. I had contacted the seller and was told I had overwatered them, which didn't make sense 2/3 were fine and they were all watered the same. But I watered them less as instructed. By the time I transplanted them into the garden bed, I had only 4 left. I am now down to 3. But those 3 seem to be doing good. Disappointed that so many died. Perhaps I will order a heartier type of strawberry plant in the future.

Awesome plants!!! They’re super easy to grow. I cannot be any more excited. My plants arrived on September 14th. I left them in their packaging on my counter for a couple of days. On Wednesday September 16th I put them in hydroponic lava rocks in a net cup with the roots in a hydroponic solution in a 32oz mason jar, set up using the Kratky method...no pump. Today is October 28th, exactly 6 weeks later, and I’ve already harvested a delicious, sweet and juicy strawberry. It was awesome!! There are so many more strawberries growing that should be ready to harvest in a few days. I’m a garden noob, hydroponic noob. I’ve only been gardening for about 8 weeks total, and definitely made some mistakes along the way, but these little plants still delivered! I highly recommend!!

I had never purchased bare root fruit online before and I was skeptical of doing so, especially through Amazon. But, since this seller is in the US I decided to give these strawberries a shot. I planted them the day I received them and within two days I was already seeing healthy new growth. All of the plants are waking up and they look great. I can't wait to see how they fruit when they're ready. Shipping was fast - I got them a day earlier than expected. The roots looked great with no shipping damage. I will be checking out this nursery again in the future.

Detailed instructions were included, followed instructions as written and placed the bare roots in the refrigerator until I had everything needed to start them, I started them in little pots of seed starter mixed with 30% sand(I used play sand from Walmart) and kept them lightly covered with cling wrap inside the house to keep a steady temperature. I prevented the wrap from touching the leaves though and did leave room for fresh air to circulate a bit. Within 3 days they began to come to life and haven’t stopped since. Healthy and strong plants. I have since moved them to a shady area outside and plan to transplant into a stacking pot in a few days. I would and likely will purchase from this seller again! I picked this variety because I grew up in Wyoming (where it was developed for extreme cold survival overwintering/high altitude), though I'm in the Bay Area now. I am excited to report that all of the roots arrived in excellent condition, zero breakage, and clearly packaged with thought and care. I look forward to seeing how they take to their containers, and will update with any interesting information!EDIT: The roots have now been in the ground for just over a week, and each of them has put out a healthy cluster of vibrant leaves. yay!

I received these packaged in a plastic bag as a wad of shoots with roots. Some of the roots were tangled and I lost some of them before and after planting because some of the plants were damaged in the untangling, and I didn't get them in the ground soon enough, respectively. Out of 10 plants I'd say 6 survived and are growing at an astonishing rate and are very healthy. I am a new gardener so the instructions they provide are helpful (I'm actually impressed that I haven't killed them all so that's saying something about the heartiness of the plants). Would definitely buy from the seller again.
