Every time i look for edison bulbs i end up going down a rabbit hole and wasting an hour. so, in this case needed bulbs that were both bright, and to give off soft light that i can live with. These were a great compromise between the beauty of low-light amber incandescent bulbs with the intricate filament (that only provide ambient light) and led bulbs which are energy efficient, don't heat up, and provide more lumens for use in a kitchen. also, we use these lights 4+ hours a day, so i didn't want to go through bulbs every year or so.the 2200k warm led light is not as soft and pretty as an incandescent, but in this case i couldn't have it all. also, our recessed lighting helped fill out the light of the kitchen so that these don't look glarey. If you want a little less light, put them on a dimmer or behind some tinted glass.

These Edison bulbs are awesome. I put these in my dining room chandelier, which is a dimmable switch and they are perfect. The bulb is yellow so they give off a warm light but yet still bright enough for function. These are perfect for a dining room or any room that you would like warm but functioning lighting in... not to mention they look great exposed if you are going for the vintage industrial look such as my self. I would certainly order these again :)

Got these for motion lantern style sensor lights I have. They have an old timey look to them that I like. The light is decidedly warm, almost amber tone, but are still bright enough for what I wanted. The only thing I don't like is that they are large bulbs, and did not fit that good in my lanterns- they work, but they are at an angle so I could get the top back on the lights.

Normally, I purchase the Edison bulbs that are sold by Costco via Fiet Electric. I needed bulbs for a dimmable light fixture while I was traveiling away from home, and I purchased these bulbs along with a light fixture. They emit a warm, yellow light that is very pleasing to the eye. But the bulbs do not like being dimmed, and after a short perios of time the ligt will go from being sort-of dimmed to being at full power. At first, I thought the problem was with the light fixture. To the seller's credit, they proactively shipped me a replacement. But the problem persisted with the new lamp. When I placed the Fiet electric bulb into the fixture, I was able to maintain a dimmed light. I am giving this 4-stars because the efforts by the seller are worthy of praise and should be recognized. I also feel that the bulb is of excellent design and emits a wonderful warm light. But it can not get 5 stars because its dimming feature is very poor.

Before NYE I wanted to replace some ugly bright-white LED lights in a couple of hanging fixtures. I bought a one-unit Philips, this 4-pack, and accidentally a turns-out-to-not-be-LED Hudson 4-pack. The lights from this (the reviewed) 4-pack won out for a few reasons: first, it was actually LED. I have not gone back to check if Hudson actually makes an LED bulb or if I just was sent the wrong thing, doesn't really matter. Second, there were no distinguishable difference from the Philips LED which was more expensive per unit. The glass on the Philips is colored orange-ish, I am not sure why or if that is just mean to make it look old-timey during the daytime.Compared to the actual filament Edison bulbs, the LEDs are obviously not as attractive. There is a visual difference between four small tubes of LEDs and four strings of filament. That said the light from the LEDs is a very nice warm orange color. Since these lamps are in fairly regular use, energy cost savings over the long run factor into the decision making process.

I wanted warmer light coloring for my outdoor wall-mount lighting fixtures on my porch and driveway, but I was also looking for enough brightness. I also wanted a slimmer bulb shape to complement the fixture nicely, as opposed to the standard round-head. Most 'warm color' LED bulbs are lower brightness. While not super-bright, but they are brighter than most of what is being sold. These are "60 watt equivalent" at 2200k 'light color warmth' whereas most others I found were like 40 watt equivalent. The extra 20 watt was what I was looking for since it was for outdoor. The warm color is actually from the LED technology, which is what I wanted. They are clear glass, NOT amber-colored glass which is another way some bulbs are made 'warmer.' I'm really pleased with these and have not found all these factors in a bulb for sale elsewhere.

We're using two of these LED Edison bulbs in our exterior Craftsman-style fixtures. They look great and put out a decent amount of light that's not too yellow or too blue. Time will tell how well they last, but for now there does not appear to be any flicker or quality issues.The shipment could've been better packed; one of the bulbs was loose. We haven't used it yet to confirm it works.

This is the perfect LED bulb! It has a retro look, saves energy, lasts a long time, and provides a warm, beautiful yellow-tinted light that most LED bulbs don't. It's perfect for our Turkish punched metal ceiling fixture.
