You can't change the rates (how quickly it reacts to control changes) and they are set very high from the factory, so it's dificult to control in any mode, but pretty much impossible to control in full manual mode. The camera isn't the worst FPV camera I've ever seen, but it's in the running for the worst. The durability is low and there's no replacement parts. So it's one of the cheapest FPV drones you can buy, but you shouldn't. Pay a bit more for the Nanohawk or especially the Larva is quite good. So bottom line, it's cheap but not much good.

UPDATE: I have got it working now, and it's surprisingly durable, my review score has changed. I soaked the flight controller in isopropyl alcohol, and replaced the motors. The quadcopter now flies just like before. I've even accidentally flown it into a bucket of water. I thought for sure that it was toast, but it works just fine. The camera lens didn't even fog up with moisture. I honestly would recommend the Beta65s lite over this Mirarobot drone. The Beta65s lite is cheaper, flys longer, more agile, and you can buy more batteries for the same cost, etc. After the Mirarobot drone needed repair, I bought the Beta65s (same flight characteristics as the Beta65s lite, just more features, and more $) It was an eye opener on just how heavy and sluggish the Mirarobot was. The Beta65s lite is a better price and feature comparison.This was initially fun but something isn't working with the flight controller and it simply won't fly anymore. The 3 modes no longer actually do anything, regardless of the LED light color indicating the mode the drone is in. and 1 of the motors seems to by dying.I only flew this very slowly trying to get the best flight time, and probably crashed maybe 3 times. It was fun, and the camera FPV systems works well. Binding to my transmitter is super easy, I really wanted to like this one. I do not recommend this drone.

Good beginner quad. This was my second quad and I’ve had it about 2 months and have probably 150+ flights. I have crashed this drone dozens and dozens of times and the camera and fc still work. The original frame was pathetic and broke my first flight. Super glue kept me on that frame for about 6 flights then I had to get a beta 75s frame and motors to swap in. I’m now on my third frame and the quad still flys great. The down side I would say for this quad is the out of the box durability is terrible and in my opinion I would rather go with the tiny hawk for $30 more coming with a storage case spare props and batteries. This quad only comes with 1 battery and no spare props. Overall not a bad quad there just so much more for a little more money.

I already had one of these and these are impressive for the price. I say the camera is average, the motors are powerful for brushed 8x20 motors. Good Props, Very strong battery, with good 4+ flight time. The weak point is the frame, dont hit it into anything to hard or it will crack or break. Mirarobot does not sell ANY replacement parts for this drone. FYI this is an exact clone of a Eachine MS80 and everything part wise, will fit this S85 mirarobot drone, good cause I needed props and a frame for mine. I whoop fly this one all the time, so hope my son in law likes his. The altitude hold mode is useless, mode angle and acro are good. Camera is still a bit off center but still ok. For the price its a good brushed racer. The camera range is weak, the frame will crack really easy and mirarobot offers NO replacement parts, thats a fail to me, but the eachine M80 is the exact model as this one so any parts from it will fit this S85.

Fly's nice, but sometimes takes a long time to initialize. Instructions on binding are bad, but then all these little drones have terrible instructions. Point camera down to bind and you'll be fine. Altitude stabilization mode is too stable making it hard to move up and down, second setting works good. I'm not up for acro mode yet. No USB so you can't connect to beta flight. Video is very good but only about 5 TX freqs. Buying a second one for a gift.

I had an initial problem with the first board burning up after 10 flights, but Customer service took care of it and sent out a new board quickly. Since then it has been working fine.

It didn't come with a battery.I got a charger and the drone, no battery, so this drone is useless until I get one.

The camera is excellent response is so so but the body won't last long order a few spare body's and props
