Use for under desk cable management
These work great for me. I use them under my desk to route/manage cables. I am essentially using them upside down and I’ve had no issues with them unsticking.

3.8 Stars Good - How-To-Mount on Wood & Metal Suggestions + More!
Blue Lounge Cable Drop 6-pack - is like many other products, a Great Idea, but Poor engineering, so I'm assigning a 3.8 Star Rating, even though it will show up as 4 Stars, becasue I know how to squeeze more life from these products.Since we live in the middle of the Pacific, we always have to either fabricate our own items, Or, take an item and Modify it, and is what I did with these cable drops, since my past expereince with any item that sports a mounting adhesive option, just don't work for the long-haul. including the 'suction-cup' hangers.USES - For mounting 3 to 8 mm USB, ROUND, charging/sync cables, Earphone cables and larger 7.5 mm single cables.with USB iPod/Iphone I can mount 2 to 3 easily. I bought these for strictly for Modification.How-To-Mount on Wood & Metal Suggestions - - Disclaimer: any modification may cancel the terms of a warranty.1. Tools - small drill set + Bosch Lithium Driver + an array of different sized, brass picture hanging wood screws (phillips head).2. To mount on Wood (Permanently) - I drilled a 1/32 hole about a 3/8 inches down from the top collar opening of cable drop. Then used a 1/8 inch brass, flathead WOOD screw to mount on a 24 x 2 x 0.5 inch board strip, already on the wall next to my desk.Note - I did NOT remove the adhessive protective cover, just drilled through it.3. To mount on Metal surface - first, locate a Magnet that is about the same size as the adhesive back, ~ 1 inch, I got mine from some of the old beer bottle plastic/metal openers, from Wally-World, and the magnets are EZ to remove. Then, take the adhesive backing OFF and stick to one side of the Magnet. I placed a Book on top for a few minutes. Now, you can stick cable drop on any Metal surface, and hang your cables.4. Recommended Adhesive - If you decide just to use the cable drop as is, without any modifications, but they are starting to lose the adhesive sticking ability; Then, I recommend getting a 1 fl.oz tube of either, 3M or Loctite Vinyl/Plastic Flexible Adhesive, as it has worked well for me, I'm sure that other reviewers may have other recommendations too. Thanks for stopping by ...

Blue Lounge 'Cable Drop': Great design, just one "but".
My desk was a rat's nest. Period. Laptop power cord, monitor cable, iPod connection cable, keyboard cable, USB hub cable, wacom tablet cable, printer USB and power cables...see where I'm going with this?'Cable Drops' let you pick a neat and direct path across a surface for your wires and consolidate them for a MUCH cleaner look. At max, each will hold about 4 standard gauge USB cables - OR - 1 larger gauge multi-pin cable + 1 smaller USB cable. They come with their own "peel n' stick" adhesive pads on the back and they hold on tight where they're placed. NOTE: there is a cautionary note on the packaging that warns "prolonged use of adhesive plates on sensitive surfaces may cause marking" - so maybe you'll want to think twice about sticking these to painted walls or the like.My one small gripe is this: I chose the white color of this product - which has a hard, rubbery (yet slightly pliable), matte finish. The way this product is packaged from the manufacturer leaves each of the little pods exposed - Perfect for whatever tactile connection a potential buyer might experience when this product is displayed at a traditional brick and mortar outlet. Also, UNFORTUNATELY PERFECT for sucking up all the dingy dirt inside of a packing carton where they've been bouncing around and rubbing against the other items you've ordered from Amazon that have all been sitting around a dusty warehouse / storeroom for god knows how long. LONG STORY SHORT, my "white" Cable Drops showed up a dingy greyish / tan color. I'm going to give them a rubdown with some sort of cleanser at some point and possibly update this posting, but for now, they're dirty. This product IS available in black, so that may be a more practical, if not less "clean, modern, trendy-white" option.All-in-all: if you're looking for a clean, easy, modern way to route your cables across hard unpainted surfaces where drilling holes is not an option, these are pretty nifty!

Great Product
These cable holders are very useful and are very easy to use. I use three or four of these at any given time to hold wires onto the side of my desk. This way, if I need to charge something, all of the cables I may generally need are within arm's reach. In the few months I have been using these, I have never experienced any problems with adhesion.I generally carry around a few different devices in my book bag that I use somewhat frequently. These include a wireless speaker, portable battery, Amazon Kindle reader, and a cell phone. These are all devices I need to charge somewhat frequently. In addition, I have a razor that requires me to charge it before each use. To avoid clutter with wires, I use four off these cable holders to hold up one micro USB 3.0 cable, one micro USB 2.0 cable, one mini USB 2.0 cable, and a charging cable. These adhesive units allow me to hold them on the side of the desk, where I can reach any of them without moving. This prevents clutter from the top of the table, and from the floor, as these wires will not need to sit on the floor while I am not using them. Each of these units can hold up to two thick cables or three thin cables. The adhesion is strong enough to support the weight in any case. I have never had to replace one of these cable holders as a result of it falling under the weight of the wires. When I touch the unit after it has been placed on a surface, it does not budge unless a great deal of force is put on it. You would have to put some muscle into it before it rips out of its position.Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to reduce wire clutter.

Adequate but overpriced
I really hate messy cables and wires, so was pleased to see a product that could take care of this issue without being complicated or taking up even more space. To fulfil this purpose they are perfectly adequate and do their job, however:1. they are overpriced for what they are - sticky plastic hooks. If I get more, I will probably try a cheaper option to see if it makes any difference.2. the packaging they come in manages to both be difficult to open and offers no protection! Mine arrived dirty and scuffed.3. the material they are made from is fairly sturdy and not too rigid, which is good. However, I deliberately bought white to be inconspicuous against my furniture, but the plastic is very easy marking and is going to pick up dust and dirt very easily - not ideal.4. they do not work with lightning cables. The hole in the drop is simply too wide and the cable falls straight through, really frustrating! It also only just fits my Kindle cable, so 2/3 of my cables are falling out, and the other does some of the time!Overall, the product is a good idea, and when it does work, it does make a difference. For me though, they aren't worth the money for how well they work in practice.

Pricey but Excellent!
Let's face it, these are a little over-priced, but ridiculously enough, there are more expensive versions out there. I've seen rubber cable management systems for upwards of £30. These at £10 for 6 are good value and do the job perfectly. They can hardly be noticed when sitting on the back of a bedside table or cabinet and any laptop or iPhone lightning cable slots into them nicely. No more having to fiddle around the back of furniture looking for a dropped cable! If you have a number of cables that you require to charge items from, especially next to your bed, you will love these!I only wish they were a little less permanent once stuck down and could be re-used. I've got around this by using blue-tac or super gluing them once they have been moved!Overall a well build and thoughtful product. Would recommend.

Work well
OKay, it's just some moulded rubbery plastic and sticky pads.....I've had a cople of these holding the cables to charge phone/tablet in place for quite some time and here's what I've found. You can take the cable in/out easily - but they rarely fall out of their own accord. The sticky pads haven't given up even after months on a vertical, vinyl covered chipboard panel (read side of flatpack bedside unit)The end of the cable is reliably where I want it to be, even in the dark I can find it to charge my phone because I've learnt where it is and it's always there. In short, they've delivered what they promised.

They're great, but a tad overpriced
I've really got a bit of a problem with how tidy the wires are around my house and these really do aid in managing them. I use them mainly on my desk to hold my laptop charger and displayport cable so that I can connect it to the display and they look pretty good. The stickers on the back are strong enough to hold cables vertically - I have on holding a cable to the back of my TV shelf. As good as the product is I can't help but wonder about the packaging choice. Since the little CableDrop's aren't covered by their packaging (they're just held on with a thin bit of plastic) they arrive with black marks on them, some of which can be cleaned off, some can't. That, together with the fact that they are maybe just a bit overpriced for what they do, I can't give them a full five star rating. However, I'd still recommend them to anybody looking to better manage their cabling.

Simple fix for a frustrating problem
if you, like me have a large number of cables surrounding your desk and your feet when working, these cable drops are what you need. Ive stuck them to the side of my desk and have hidden the plugs and cables in the cable box built into my desk. I no longer have cables running around my feet or under my chair and have created a much nicer, cleaner work environment. My cables are easy to reach and the adhesive backing is plenty strong enough to support any size cable i've tried, from thin macbook chargers to chunky HDMI cables. Ive placed one on my bedside table which means no fumbling around for my phone charger in the dark anymore. For a simple product, I'm surprised how useful I've found it. my only gripe is the price, for a pack of six it is quite excessive. but it gets the job done so i'm happy !
