Great item

This book is intended as an introduction to the use of materials in interior design for students, and fulfils that requirement comprehensively. Covering historical context, understanding materials in existing buildings, developing design concepts, haptic and aesthetic as well as functional properties, and touches on environmental issues. These are reinforced with case studies from leading designer's projects. There is a lot more to learn about materials and how to use them, but this is a good place to start.

All fine. But would like a sales receipt

This book is great. Although if you are looking for depth in terms of knowledge about all the different materials used in Interior design, this is not your book. This book gives and overview of materials with explanations. It also has other subjects that is not strictly about materials, but can be linked to it, like site analysis, brief or models. I would say it is a great starting point, but if you are interested in interior design more than just as a hobby, then further reading will be necessary.
