Great Waterproof boot
I ordered 2 different styles and sizes of this brand of boot. Surprisingly, I can say they fit how they should (if you go by the European sizing). The other pair I ordered, Iris II, size 39 was too big and I returned that pair. This pair was ordered in size 38, which is what I normally wear and it fit. You cannot go by the US sizing conversion - as a 38 is normally a US 8, my size and not a US 7 as stated. I will say, though, if my only choice had been the size 39 pair, they would have worked, albeit with thick socks.I've only worn these a few times - on wet trails with the dog - which is why I was looking for high quality rain boots (wet trails). These boots feel and look heavy duty - much higher quality than the other brands I've worn - Sperry and Hunter. The fit is nice - narrower, which I am grateful for, as I was swimming in the other pairs/brands I owned and had to wear thick socks. I still recommend wearing socks though - rain boots are not meant to wear bare foot - you will get blisters. My only complaint, which I've read elsewhere, is that they are not the easiest to take off. That is the tradeoff for high quality, nice fitting rain boots.

Great boot!
I wear these any and every chance I get (I have to justify the cost!) and I really do love them. They may run a half size too big, but I tend to like my boots that way, my feet stay warmer and I can wear socks of varying thicknesses. My only complaint is that the fabric lining on one of the boots started to come up and wrinkle in the heal area, which became irritating. Also, the brand badge on one of the boots started to release from the boot. Both problems were solved with my good friend super glue. Not a big deal since neither really affects the purpose of the boot, which is to keep my feet dry and warm.

Compared these with City All Tracks, and Lady Vierzon 2 wins out!
I purchased these city all tracks and the lady vierzon 2 together to see the difference between the two.I typically wear a size 8, and sometimes size 7 1/2, and I purchased these boots in a 39 (7 1/2 US), and they fit perfect. Still have a thumb's width between my big toe and the end of the toe box. (Both styles fit this way) I would say the are definitely true to size. I have a high instep and was concerned I wouldn't be able to get my foot all of the way in the boot, however it was no problem at all. Also no problem to take off. The City All Tracks were the most difficult to take off, since they have such a tight calf. The rubber is soft, thick and pliable. So much nicer than the cheap, stiff, synthetic rainboots I have always worn.So....the difference between the two:Lady Vierzon 2 is 3/4" higher up the leg, and has a gusseted calf. City All Tracks is very fitted at the calf, with no room for adjustment. I have thin to average size calf, so anyone who has a wider calf might find these tight. The ankles on the Lady Vierzon 2 are slightly slimmer.I ended up keeping the Lady Vierzon 2 for the main reason that I can tuck my jeans into them, and not have to wear skinny jeans for them to fit. I also like the look of the adjustable strap on the calf of the Lady Vierzon as opposed to the decorative strap on the City All Tracks.I wrote this review because I searched far and wide on the internet for information on the differences of these boots, to no avail. I rated these Lady Vierzon 2 highest, because the fit, quality, style and the option of tucking in regular jeans, as the City All Tracks do not.

Incredible fit and comfort
I originally bought a pair of hunter green, 'Hunter' boots but wasn't in love with them and after reading several reviews about the downward trend in the quality of Hunter, and the fact that I see them on feet everywhere, I decided to order these boots and compare the two. I can say unequivocally, there is absolutely NO comparison! The Le Chameau are a bit more pricey, but they look and feel like they cost twice as much. The rubber feels like silicone/butter and is super pliable, which must lend to the comfortable fit. I pretty much measure they comfort of any boot to that of my first pair of Uggs, which I still own, (almost 10 years later), and are still remarkably comfortable, even though they've been relegated to 'quick grocery run/airport drop off/dog walk' status. I have never found a more or even similarly comfortable boot, until now. I love the way they look and the comfort fit is just icing on the cake. As for size, after two pregnancies, my feet have grown to a size 91/2, sometimes 10 in boots and I ordered the size 40, nervous they'd be too small. They fit like they were custom molded to my feet.Hunter boots are cute, but for the money and (based on much research) hopefully the quality, I'd spend a bit more and thank yourself later.

I think they are a fake
First of all, the ankle area is very bulgy. My calves are 12" wide so they are rather thin, but the boot buldges in a weird way. The adjustable strap keeps coming undone and having to be fixed. When they arrived, they were covered in this weird powder. And the Chameau tag on the front had a nasty wax substance over them.Otherwise, they keep the rain out and are decently stylish.

Otherwise it's a great looking boot
It's a lot of money for rain boots, so I'd expect some lining inside for added warmth in winter and some arch support - but neither is present. Otherwise it's a great looking boot. I'm 7.5 US size and 38 European fit perfect. I have average calf and I can put these boots on and take them off easily. The sole looks like it's slip-resistant - winter is coming so I still have to test that. 4 stars for style and color.

A little bigger than in the store
I tried on US 6 in the store, same socks and everything, and they fit like a glove. The ones I got don't fit the same. They're a little loose. I put an insert in and it helps, but I was really expecting better for how much I paid. Otherwise, I love them. They are very comfortable and beautiful. I feel like they are well made. Not sure yet, if I will send them back for a smaller size.

Stylish for a welly.
This is my third pair of Le Chameau, and they always wear really well. Had two pair of Hunters and they didn't stand up to all the dog walking over fields etc. they only lasted about six months and I took them both back to the shop for a replacement. When the second pair was returned that was when I went on to Le Chemeau, and must say I will always stick with these. This is a different style to the others , a little on the large size, ( am usually take a six in a welly. )But went for the seven, plenty of room for an insole and thick sock.Love the colour and very stylish , great quality.

LOVE THEM!
I love these boots! I'm new to the Le Chameau brand but had seen this same pair in the stores and was very impressed with the natural materials they were made of, as well as their sturdy quality and nice style. As described, they are one size larger than I normally wear but I ordered the same size regardless (UK 4) so that I could wear them with a pair of thicker socks (and they were the smallest size available online). Regardless, even with thin socks, they are still warm enough to go out in because walking makes the feet toasty anyway! : ) I would definitely order them again.

perfection!
Before to order those boots I have made a lot of research and fell in love with description.Normally I wear size 38/ Uk 5. So I ordered those boots in this size. They fit me perfectly with the woolen socks. It means if u want to wear them with a rhib socks, u need to order one size smaller(which the seller mentioned in the description). I'm very happy with my choice. They are sturdy, veery comfy and soft. Looks like leather as well! Hope they will last! Thank you!!
