My New Favorite Bedside Buddy for Crafting!
Okay, so I know this is technically a "Car Seat Tray Table," designed for little ones to eat or play on during long trips, or even for adults to use a laptop in the backseat. But let me tell you, I've completely repurposed it, and it's absolutely brilliant for my needs! I'm a big jewelry maker, and I often like to work on my projects while comfortably propped up in bed. Trying to balance a bead mat and all my tools on a regular lap desk was always a precarious dance, but this tray has solved all my problems and then some. It’s surprisingly sturdy and well-designed, making it perfect for an unexpected use. What I love most about it for my crafting is the incredible stability. The base sits securely on my bed, and the adjustable height means I can get it just right for my posture, preventing those neck aches from hunching over. The tray surface is large enough to spread out my tools, bead trays, and components without feeling cramped. Plus, the slight lip around the edge is a fantastic bonus – no more tiny beads rolling off onto the duvet and disappearing into the abyss! It truly makes my crafting sessions so much more enjoyable and efficient, turning my bed into a comfortable, temporary workbench. While it's marketed for cars, its versatility really shines through. If you're someone who likes to do any kind of detailed work, reading, or even just enjoy a meal from the comfort of bed or a sofa, this tray table is a game-changer. It folds up nicely when not in use, so it doesn't take up much space, and it feels robust enough to handle daily use. Forget the car; this tray has found its true calling as my ultimate crafting companion, and I honestly don't know how I managed without it before! Highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a stable, adjustable surface for hobbies or work outside of its intended purpose.

Versatile tray table for car, chair or bed and for reading, computing and eating!
So far, I’ve used this mobile tray in my living room and as a “breakfast in bed” tray. It has worked well in both locations, but I suspect it will shine best in our car during a prolonged trip. Fortunately, we received the tray just in time for a planned fall foliage tour cross country. The manufacturer photos show the table in use by children and it would certainly work that way. But I’m an adult and it works great for me too. In fact it’s is the perfect size for our small living room recliner and for the contoured front passenger seat of our car. The tray tilts to the perfect angle for reading or working. Tilt it toward you too far, however, and your water bottle might slide. Fortunately, it is easy to change the angle on the fly as needed. Plus, you can install a handy little shelf to stop your items from sliding too far. This accessory even has mini “arms” to secure a tablet or book as shown in my photo. The height of the tray is also adjustable. There are various slots for a telephone and a tablet with well positioned holes through which you can thread charging cords. The tray is very thoughtfully constructed.I will update if I have any additional thoughts after our cross country tour. Happy travels.

I pretty much live in my recliner…
Not completely true. I play a lot of golf and bridge. But, when I’m home, my stressless chair is my command post. I have my tablet, my phone, a hassock, a reading light, and an end table. What else could I need? Oh yes, a laptop table. Occasionally, I even grab a meal in my chair and it was a juggling act. Now, I can comfortably fit this table across my lap and between the arms of the chair. (Good to know it’s not just child-sized.) As stated in the listing, the legs can go up and down (9.25” to 13.2” and rotates (not quite 45 degrees, in one direction only). One photo attempts to show the difference between the straight leg and the fully-rotated one. The two “phone slots” each have an opening at the bottom for a power cord. Included is a little gizmo that can fit in either the bottom slot or the top long slot. It has two little arms that can be extended to hold a book open; or it can be taken out completely. My only concern with this table is its usage as a tablet holder. Granted, my tablet (an iPad mini) only has a slim case on it. But, the top and bottom slots are too wide to hold it securely. Maybe if I pad it with tissues or something, it would hold my mini while I’m eating. No big deal. My “command post” is now complete. It doesn’t weigh very much, so it’s easily lifted off my lap when needed.

Highly Adjustable
I'll get to the negative first. This table is made of plastic including the hardware. The reason for the four stars instead of five. I question its durability and its ability to hold up over a period of time. I use this on my couch and in my bed. Works well. I haven't used it in my truck yet but should make travel a lot more convenient. I can fold this up and put behind my seat saving space. Has slots for tablets, phone and the like. A lot of thought put into the design. The stability of this table is good, and it can be adjusted to just about any position. Functions exactly as it should. The surface material on top is very nice and easy to clean. I'm weigh 150 pounds, and this fits me fine and there's enough room to fit a larger person. The table comes fully assembled. If this table holds up over time, it's a good value. Would recommend. Will update in a few months or if this table fails.

Good tray table for building Legos, crafts, and more!
I originally ordered this for use in the car because we take road trips fairly often and my boys love to snack. I haven't actually gotten that far with this tray table yet. Instead my son has been using it for his Lego builds and this tray is just what he needed. He likes to assemble Legos on the carpet instead of on a table. I understand that sitting on the carpet versus a hard chair is much more comfortable but I knew this guy needed a little help. This tray table has helped keep his Legos off the floor and helped my son build his Legos with ease. The table is stable and fits over his legs with plenty of space. When he wants, he can even use it on his bed. He loves it. I like that it folds so easily and won't pinch him like other trays I have used in the past. It fits neatly next to his book shelf, neatly and out of sight due to its slender design. This tray table is a win-win.
