Same as other reviewers, I too experienced some discoloration with these utensils. I only hand wash my dishes, and I noticed if these air dry, they tend to get an almost tarnished ring around them. I can imagine then why people who threw them in the dishwasher might be having even worse issues. Luckily, in my case, it's only a superficial discoloration, and I've been able to correct this by wiping it down. Unfortunately, in order to ensure they don't continue to tarnish, I now have to hand dry them with each wash. With that as a word of caution: If that isn't something you'd like to add to your dish-washing routine, then I'd look for another set. It's a pain, but now that I've bought them, I intend on making them last. That being said, I'm at least happy with the aesthetic of this product. Against my matte black dishware, the bronze-y rose gold color really pops. My friends always rave about how well presented my dinner parties are, and these utensils are definitely the secret weapon. They were also a good price, so I'm still overall happy with the purchase.

** update ** I have been using them for a while on all temps, foods, drinks etc with washing them quite frequently and the color is still just as beautiful as ever. No fading, chipping, or discoloration. I am so happy and ordered a second set. If you’re contemplating buying them or unsure over another brand buy these. I love them and so happy I got them. So unique and beautiful. The second photo is after some use the first photo is fresh out of the package. Ok so far it seems sturdy, the color is beyond beautiful and goes great with my matte black dishes. I am in love and these utensils are amazing! Will update after some use to see how they hold up.

Used these to complete our Diner en blanc table at DC’s event 2019. They were perfect. Loved them! They looked so nice and I was surprised by how much I liked them ...I wasn’t planning on using them at the house Bc I just wanted them for the event, but now I plan to use them for special occasions like Thanksgiving or if we have friends over for dinner! I hand washed and dried them after the event and haven’t used them again but they looked fine after. Hope they will last!

I love them! Beautiful and great quality. The only thing that stinks is if you let them air dry there are visible water droplet marks so they kind of look dirty if you don’t buff it off or dry right after washing.

Not a terrible option for some holiday silverware - it looks nice. It is relatively sturdy however I do not like the feel of it as much as some silverware - it definitely feels like a cheaper set. The handles are a little thin and crisp edges that just make them more of a novelty than an everyday option.
