Not cheap but gets results. Quality Antenna
Noticeable improvement on VHF over the stock SDS100 antenna. I've been using the SDS100 more these days instead of the stationary scanners in the shack and the first thing I noticed how poor the reception was. I'd hit the Avoid button too many times since the channel it was stopping on was unlistenable. Bought this antenna thinking I was going to have to test/return/buy another based on reviews. Happy with this one, keeping it.

Excellent for a Uniden SDS-100 Scanner
Right out of the box, exceptional reception for all round improvement over the stock antenna. Installed on a Uniden SDS-100 Scanner and now I receive everything in a 50 mile radius.

Wow!Using 2 of these antennas….1 on a uniden 75, one on a uniden 125. Instantly noticed clearer and better reception on both. I would highly recommend for any scanner.

Great Reception Enhancer!!
I bought this antenna for my BC75XLT and it works great!! My county uses a digital radio system for emergency communications and the scanners to listen are very expensive. The county has a repeater in analog for rebroadcast of Fire & EMS dispatches and the reception was okay with the provided antenna except for listening to South fire band. After switching out antennas the reception is significantly better and much clearer in both analog frequencies I listen to. As a former volunteer firefighter I appreciate still being able to monitor the Fire and EMS activity in my home county. Would recommend this antenna for those who use non digital scanners.

It's a little better
I found that this worked slightly better than the default on my BCD325P2 scanner.

Improvement
Immediately noticed the improvement from stock antenna that came withBCD325P2. FIxed the choppiness issues I was having with P25 PH1 channels in my area.
