This is “SMOOTH” newsprint regardless if the picture posted.

It is a smooth surface. I do not recommend to buy this one.

Q: Would the rough texture be good for oil pastels?

It’s too soft a texture for pastels. This is more for sketching and charcoal.

Q: Does it becomes yellow over time?
